Any form of collusion between opponents must be announced beforehand in the game chat, in English or in a language all players understand.

its russian im pretty sure (i can understand a bit of the language seieng how i know bulgarian).

You can't force everyone to speak a certain language on this site. CC is a site for everyone in the world. Imagine the foreign people who don't know a word of english and what they have to go through every game when someone talks in the chat

That's just about every main language has there own forum. The main one is english though.

Just because someone is typing in a al anguage that you cannot undertand does not make them suspect or guilty of cheating or forming a secret alliance by default of the simple sad fact that you can only read understand a single language yourself. The limit is your own (and mine, as I only speak English, myself).

This has come up here before with someone questioning whether or not a non-English typer is "cheating" or "forming a secret allaince" and someone else comes in a translates it only to find out that they were just typing about other things in the game or even outside of it... glad to find someone who spoke their same language and converse with them that way.

In the end, Oxy, impying that languages other than English makes someone suspect of not being an ethical gamer just makes we English-only speakers seem kinda petty adn uneducated. Remember, most non-English speakers know several languages, while we who speak English typically know nothing else... theyreby, they know more and we are the ones who know less. Try keeping that in mind when you are the one who can't speak other languages. <raises eyebrows>

i can't figure any peace treaties however i might be wrong since i don't speak Macedonian

don't get me wrong, i don't speak A WORD of their language, i just know the basics of about every kind of language, especially european languages, i figured out it would most likely be macedonian (it might be a languages closely related to it, any slavic language.. (and slavic languages are pretty hard for me, out of all european languages, those are the hardest for me to translate)) and i managed to understand a couple of their words, and as far as i understand it they are just having a normal conversation

Dodo, you miss one important fact, when in another language, english-only speakers don't know what's being talked about. I'd say better safe then sorry. If it's an allience, we got them. If not, it was an honest mistake, and they should still be allowed to talk in their language. There shouldn't be anything wrong with being overcautious and caring about the fairness of the game.

You are allowed to speak a foreign language in game chat, but the problem is people who don't speak that language will assume you are making alliances. To check, we need to find an outside party who can translate whatever the language is. Therefore it is greatly preferred that all chat in general be done in English or a language everyone knows.

Since they were making alliances, Ditka and philipomk are blocked from playing together.

Macedonian. But, all ex-yugoslavian languages are similar, so I am pretty certain that I translated it correctly.
