Subject line: Abusive In-Game Chat

Suspect users: Wrestler1ump

Game number: 1204596

Comments: Despite not being a part of this private game the above mentioned user has entered game chat and has begun hurling abuse at all participants for no apparent reason. There has been no provocation at all, and his behaivour is precisely the sort of thing that ruins the CC gameplaying experience for everybody. He has an extensive record of poor behaivour (evidenced by his feedback) here, and I feel that something ought to be done about one of CC's most persistant trouble-makers and disruptive users.

As a member of the pleasant chaps, I feel disturbed by the comments. I suggest Twill or another mod do what they do best - ban him.

Same...although i am not pleasent chaps

I also believe that it is completely unnecessary, and that he is doing it because he feels that he will not get in trouble, not because he thinks it is not breaking the rules.

I have never done this in one of his games, and don't want it done in mine.

I'm hurt Why would he do such a thing? We're having a nice, friendly game and then he comes in and starts throwing around insults!

I think this is clearly wrestler1ump trying to use the system to avoid punishment and indeed retribution. This is little different from sending harassing PM's. It's one thing to turn up and act as an unofficial cheerleader of one player, quite another to turn up and say things such as "why don't you go suck their nipples".

Does anyone have any other games where wrestler has posted abusive language in game chats?

For now, go ahead and add wrestler to your ignore list and his comments will disappear.

Well I had a quick scan of his feedback and quickly found a couple examples of him using foul language in game-chat (and these are only the examples other players have been vocal about):

Obviously it's harder to find examples of games such as ours that he has randomly interupted with his disruptive ways, but should I encounter him doing the same thing again I will be sure to inform you.

May I enquire whether he has been warned over this incident?

For me it was the other way around lol. I got a negative for using abusive chat by him

This is a player who has been banned for multi-accounts in the past, and who has gathered over 30 negative feedbacks during his brief time here (he has more neg than positive feedback btw). He has done nothing in games or in the forums other than make a nuisance of himself and disrupt the experience of other players.

I think it is clear that it is time for the moderators of this site to take some kind of action which lets him know his kind of behaivour is totally unacceptable here. I for one do not want to be harassed and verbally abused while I am trying to play a game of Risk for which I have payed $20.

Can we have a fuller moderator response please?

Whump has over-stepped the mark.

It's almost as though there is no safe-haven from whump nowadays. He just seems to be everywhere, abusing people.

I for one am appalled by his flagrant misuse of the forum tools.

Let's not forget his history of harassing other players (by posting in game chat of games he is not playing in and insulting them) and phallic avatars while we're at it.

Well I can certainly write a more longwinded answer, but the overall answer remains the same. Yes he was busted for having multiple accounts, and did what all the other past multis that are still here did, upgraded to a premium membership. Hell he even apologized, which most don't do. We don't get rid of players because they have a lot of negative feedback or post a few lines to taunt you in your game chat, instead we have the ignore list for that. If he starts spamming up multiple game chats, or starts writing excessively vulgar comments, then he will get a warning and possible escalating punishments if the behavior doesn't stop. But a few lines of chat in one game is a relatively minor offense. Our harrassment policy is written on the rules page if you'd like to review it.

Edit: I looked at the games you linked DM and can see nothing in those games that's excessively vulgar. Most are just the use of the word "f*ck". One time he did use "faggot cock-muncher", but again that's just trash-talking and he only had maybe a few lines of potty mouth per game.

Thanks wicked. The games Dancing Mustard listed are from months ago. Why he would go stalking me is beyond me anyways. He probably wanted some entertainment and some flame wars material, happened to see a few swear words, and decided to make a post about it. I haven't cursed in chat for a long time. This is obviously another ploy to give me a hard time. Wicked realizes that I am not that liked in flame wars, and that is why everyone is complaining about me. It might be a bit more meaningful if a non-flamer were to complain, but so far I see no evidence of that.

I also do not recall trolling into Dancing Mustard's game, nor do I recall using the word "faggot cock-muncher", but it sure isn't as bad as what is seen on flame wars.

I am appalled that someone would make an issue out of something that occurred months ago. Thank you for your understanding with this issue wicked.

By the way, the single game that Dancing Mustard was complaining about is a flame wars game, and people were trash talking in it all game long, including those who were not actually members of the game.

So you're saying that you were either A. Doing a forum search of your own name or B. Digging through old C&A reports. Either really egotistical or really odd and a bit stupid... Anyway, we were not trying to "screw you over", we just don't like random people popping into our games and calling us assholes. Especially if they're not in our game.
