Two players on same comp [noted]

Postby theboser on Fri Nov 09, 2007 11:04 am

My roomate just made an account here so we'll be playing from the same IP address. I read somewhere that this was allowed, but what I don't know is what kind of games we're allowed to play together. I'm presuming we're not allowed to play non-team games because of possible corroboration- but I hope it's alright if we play the usual 2v2v2 and 3v3 games.

Lemme know.

you can play singles games but its generally not a good idea, just to avoid the accusations. just dont do it often and dont go secret alliancing and chances are nobody will bat an eyelid.
had i been wise, i would have seen that her simplicity cost her a fortune

Heh I guess it was inevitable that I would get comments like that.. and there's nothing I can really say to prove you wrong so I won't bother.

If you search "SkyT" he is (or was) our conquer, and plays with his "Friends"

Nothing wrong with this, except apparently they're all from the same college, and only about 50% of the time (according to him) they play the games themselves.

I'll let you read the thread by him, and draw your own conclusion, just wanted to make sure you didn't think that it was directed towards you (because I don't believe it was you)

Happy gaming, and good luck!

Sticking to team games is definitely the safer route. We allow people from the same comp to play together, but if you are reported as being suspicious it can be hard to prove yourself innocent, even if you didn't intentionally form an alliance.
