This is a complaint for the foul language used by a CC member in the game in question and is being filed under the Moderation Policy.
This complaint is being left for documentation purposes for future complaints.

We have a couple sayings around here you should get familiar with.
"Pull up your big girl panties" and "Suck it up cupcake".
Your seriously going to deadbeat that game because they were swearing in the game chat?
Heres the
link.

First, who asked for your opinion?
Second, as my post says, it's for documentation purposes.
and third, it was by a player that was supposed to be a teamate.
Oh also, where I'm from we measure ones intelligence by their vocabulary, so I can see you're not much higher on the chart than the one I was originally referring to.

Im just saying your acting kind of childish by refusing to play with someone who swears.
I have an idea for you tho, try adding him to your ignore list and then it wont show his game chat anymore. One of the recent additions in this batch of updates.

Perhaps you can try the grievance function? That will both satisfy your need for filing a complaint as well as provide a documentary function.
However, just as an advice. You may risk a grievance being filed against yourself if quitting that game (I just read the game chat, I didn’t really bother to look into it more closely).

Zryk, you should also consider placing the person on your ignore list to filter out the foul language.

Here's a Bible. Try not to thump on it too hard, you might hurt yourself.
Grow up, I like the sayings AK used, finish the game, never play with him again. Simple.

Seriously it looks like CC is being overrun by bad-mouthed children with no respect for any other players.
Sure cussing isn't something thats really restricted in CC, but it doesn't mean all players shouldn't at least retain some respect for the other in-game players. Any of you all actually read what the guy is posting? Its swearing just for the sheer point of pissing someone off.
Aside from the guys ability to formulate a real sentence, the lack therof, he sounds like a real asshole and I can't believe any of you all would actually jump to his defense. Most of you all aren't defending the ability to swear, but this asshole who shoves the whole point of CC in the crapper and then takes a big dump on it.
Obviously when the HS's & MS's caught drift of CC we all knew this would happen, in-fact I'm more amazed at how many GOOD, cool younger players are joining up then the relatively few aholes like this guy.

Anyone else catch the irony of someone using the term "asshole" to criticize someone for "cussin'"

I'm with the Darkone on this. Why criticize someone for complaining about vulgarity. Granted, better ways of dealing with this were mentioned, but all of the bashing, and personal attacks, in this thread were completely unnecessary.
I know that some of you guys have your own agenda, and a certain kind of rep that you're trying to build, but seriously, people shouldn't have to fear being abused just by posting about a legitmate concern.
Just try being civil outside the flamewars forum. It's not that hard.

I think, being honest, that "cussing" shouldn't be banned in general. In instances such as this one, were the profanity was directed at a player, alright, that's not right. But there are instances where it can, and should, be ignored. Thus the admonishment to "pull up your big girl panties". I then read the game chat, and in this case, he should be penalized.

OK, let's clear some things up.....No i don't like the foul language, but the point is that it was specifically directed at ME by my supposed TEAMMATE.
If it were a standard game, i.e. everyone for himself, I wouldn't have given a hoot.
But now I have to watch my back in a doubles game, because of a teammate!?
The fact that I PUT him on my ignore list might filter the chat, but not the apparent backstabbing play that's yet to come.
That's what the hubbub is all about. The play, not the chat!

thats why the thread is titled "Foul Language"?

THATS RIGHT!
Because foul language is covered under the "Moderation Policy" and subject to review and possible discipline....
backstabbing a teammate in a game is not.

I think Lack already covered what you should do with the potty mouths Zyrk. If we had to moderate every bit of bad language here, it'd take a small army. Good luck finding a better partner in the future.

Obviously you didn't understand what I was trying to say. I don't give a shit <<< about cussing the vast majority of the time. Swear all you want, whenever, its entirely your right and my right. But in the same vein of though, at least consider why your going off on a person and whether thats how you'd like to be treated in a game.

Not a backpeddle...try and absorb into the community before you mess with those of us who have been here since the start. June 22nd join up? Nice, try smack talking when you actually have a repertoire.
Where in my original post do I directly say or even indirectly suggest cussing shouldn't be allowed? Where? Where? No where.
All I suggested is that if players still have/had respect for each other they would try to notch the swearing down to a respectable level, not because they have too, but because it’s how they feel like treating other players.
Well in your situation, I don't have any respect for you right now. You’re new, you’re arrogant, and you’re starting a flame war in the wrong place. Play for even just a month before you choose to get involved in any more discussions with CC, just a month 30-days, that’s all, then maybe we'll consider what your saying.[/quote]
