If it is serbian/croatian word, then it is a slang for word "hvala" which means "thank you".

Fala = speak (in Portuguese).
The cheater was Brazilian, by the way.
Alexandre-BR: one common name in Brazil + BR (Brazil, obviously)
matador = Killer
torpedo = couldnt find in the dictionary, but is that underwater weapon the submarines use.

I thought it meant something like speak (os falas = we talked, right?). That's partly what fuelled my suspicions that there was a prior agreement going on... funnily enough, just after posting this thread they turned on each other! Oh, and I got taken out!
