If it is serbian/croatian word, then it is a slang for word "hvala" which means "thank you".

Alexandre-BR: one common name in Brazil + BR (Brazil, obviously)

I thought it meant something like speak (os falas = we talked, right?). That's partly what fuelled my suspicions that there was a prior agreement going on... funnily enough, just after posting this thread they turned on each other! Oh, and I got taken out!
