Turn sitters are not allowed to chat under the account they are turn sitting with, they are only there to take the turns. not only did he chat under Silly Knig-it's account, he did so to lob ignorant abuse as only an ignoramus could.

I don't see a problem. He wasn't abusive. You created a problem by criticising him in chat indirectly, trying to stir the pot. A simple PM to Darin would have avoided this.
The only rude person in chat was you. As for defending his mate who is attending a funeral. I doubt anyone other than you has a problem with this.

not sure seeing anything that would need time spending for hunters here, you started to put fuel on something the wrong way then you expect people to lower the head and bend over, sitter actually put some explanation politely in the chat.

start to be nice upfront and try to understand, you will find out people would be nice in return.

Just to clarify for the OP:

Yes sitters are allowed send a message in the game chat to let everyone know who's playing on the account. Most people appreciate knowing who they're playing against. I also saw nothing wrong with him defending his friend against something you started. Sitters are not allowed on the forums, or in global chat. THAT would be abusing the account.

I agree with Mad here. This is spurious and a total waste of C&A time. Had you messaged Darin directly before making mean comments, he would have filled you in on the sitting rules and all of it would have been avoided.

You're all clearly as ignorant as gangus because I never directed comments at his friend. His friend wasn't a 1striper when the comment was made and the only reason he's a 1striper now is probably because he's had to have idiots like gangus take his turns for him for several turns in a row due to his extended absence. I actually get on quite well with Silly.

The rules on what can be done while sitting someone else's account are crystal clear. You don't get to chime in with your own opinions. You're there to take turns. Anyone can chat into a public game from their own account so there's no cause for gangus to abuse his friend's account.

And the hilarity of you guys crying 'mean comment' because I belittled the abilities of a 1striper who clearly has no abilities which is why he's a 1striper. The things I've seen each of you say would put that comment at .0001 on the meanness scale compared to things you've said and also things you've condoned other people saying, including you condoning gangus calling someone a moron which is actually inflammatory insulting language as opposed to what I said regarding the 1striper. You only show your ignorance when you say "The ONLY rude person in chat was you". If you can't acknowledge that gangus was being rude you're too clueless to have a conversation with.

And this right here, marked in bold, is exactly why I think you have a worse attitude than the person you are reporting. You're free to feel however you feel, but you shouldn't expect no rebuke at all when you call players out for having a lower rank than you. If I was sitting for a friend who was ill or who had suffered a bereavement and someone behaved that way, I might be tempted to tell the person hurling abuse to get lost. It's only human.

You are now telling us that your attack wasn't directed at silly, that may be true, but you didn't actually make that clear when you were told off in the game chat. You directed it at "random 1 stripers." Every player of that rank in the game was going to take offense to what you said whether they voiced it or not. Surely you must have understood what effect your words would have on the other player/s in the game. I honestly don't think being called a moron is any worse than being called an ignoramus, which you have used in your opening post here.

We are each responsible for the things we say.

And you did start the conversation by complaining about those taking the turns.

Unless what you have to say is actual evidence that is relevant to the case and will either assist in busting or clearing the accused, then either
1) do NOT post it
or
2) Post it here viewforum.php?f=6 in discussions, where things should be discussed. It will make a multi hunters life much easier.

i reccomend you to think twice before criticising such a wisdom
plus, judges and juries have the flexibility but staying loyal to the book of rules to set a final verdict.
there is no single book of rules to cover every single possible case in the human history.
otherwise why would we need for judges and juries...

By the way when there are 10 people are clearly telling you are in the wrong is there maybe just maybe a 1 in 100000 possibility that you might be wrong?
