First, I resigned this game Game 20248044 jerk - way to try to sneak a lie into this. I swear I hit the resign button on at least one of those other ones, too. My wife came home early during both RMM ones and I couldn't get back to my computer so, whatever. She likes to talk and gets mad if she thinks I'm not listening. Sorry, I choose happy wife over placating some POS like Parker here. BUT I have stopped starting speed games when she is close to coming home. Plus, those were good games that I wasn't out of - as we have seen, I do not deadbeat games in which I am still in it. Second, I AM getting better. I used to deadbeat every loss, here is a list of games over the last few weeks in which I stuck around. I should be recognized for attempting to change and showing improvement - change isn't done overnight, just look at the USA! - and I apologize to everyone except this clown that I haven't been perfect. But look! The games I stick around now far outweigh the ones in which I do not. That is progress, people, and progress should be rewarded. Or at least noted with a final warning. My improvement will continue if given the opportunity. I believe that is 33% of my losses that I deadbeated. Lower than the site average of 38%, as you'll see below!

That's the first page of 1 v 1 speed games from the last couple weeks in which one opponent deadbeated the end of the game. 38% of 1 v 1 speed games end that way. So to do what you're going to do - there should be no punishment however I do recognize that logic and thought doesn't apply here thus I'm probably getting banned from speed games for a month or something - but at least acknowledge that this is a bullshit witch hunt. Punishing me for something that is clearly commonplace and that I am legitimately getting better and working on - there's even a forum thread with overwhelming support for allowing the resign button at any time, which would eliminate this issue entirely so I'm not sure why we're even here having the conversation until that takes effect. Especially considering yet again, this has nothing to do with zeus and anybody who it has "affected" has either not spoken up because they themselves do it or has spoken in my defense.

In closing, the evidence shows that:

A) I have greatly improved and am clearly trying, this should be taken into consideration as in a short time, I believe I will be 100% compliant, unlike everyone else who plays speed games
B) I am actually BETTER than the site average when it comes to this
C) Zeus is a dick and the site has been much more enjoyable when he hasn't been around
D) I actually had a few of those on which I didn't intend to time out - I know, I know, my track record suggests otherwise but if I admit to some, why wouldnt I just admit to them all?
E) I have adjusted my start times so I can cut out the games in which I am interrupted by marital bliss

Before you go on and bring up the answer I know you will (it wastes time) lets discuss that for a bit. By deadbeating there was 9 min of Nut Shot Scott's turns "wasted" per game. If he were to play it out not all of that 9 min is "wasted" as he needs to take his turns. Beyond that it is reasonable to assume that if he were playing to try and "stall" the game he could make it take way longer to finish the game for both players by actually playing it out. Effectively the wasted time argument is pointless because he is actually saving both players time by deadbeating compared to play it out. Your next argument will be that there is a resign button, but that only appears some of the time (not sure exactly what the rules are). I am good with it being against the rules to deadbeat when you could resign but outside of that, who is it hurting?

If instead everything just gets over policed people will leave out of frustration with the site direction more than they will leave because someone didn't finish their game.

Thank you for your explanation and defense to show that you are 'getting there'. Please 'get there' fast.

If it really becomes a hassle for you to continue playing a Poly game when you see that you are already losing, why not play a different setting and NOT Poly games? Think about it. We can only do so much when we practice the habit of Intentional deadbeating behind the Poly setting.

the site has rules to date to db losing games while online playing the wins is not allowed period , if players decide this is too much of site to ask its simple cc club is not for them!!! the site even allows members to resign in those games so really there is no excuse as we can see he is resigning now and like was stated by admin here get there fast . if it wastes time or it does not that is the set of rules we all play by , as we can all see the speed section is plagued with i db !!!!!

its killed that side of site frankly and feel strongly it is not to much to ask of us to join a game and see it through , especially when resign feature is an option ,

be well all its not personal its some thing we all should get after now before its too late. its not just this member not by far... now over half of the daily players in speed games are and will continue to db games if this is left alone . it has dropped the level of game play to garbage its an actual plague that is has and will kill speed game section ,

6 player games with 2 no shows and 2more db if not all 5 regardless of stage of the game has killed the site . most want to play a good competitive game win or lose and is why the site has such few rules i gather but if we just sit back piss and moan about i think we should be able to or i can db these settings play others isnt the current rules plain and simple , open a game play it out join a game see it through really isnt a lot to ask , what is enough is all the pre Madonna s who think there belif systems should circumvent our few current rules .

thanks for speedy reply i disagree with this as being noted after a warning has been issued but if it stops the db s daily while playing out the wins its all good , but we must keep things even so by this ruling it kind of says its ok to db poly games after we warn ya to stop. we should not let sites decline in players change how we govern the site . if hottigers after warned was handed 72 hours ban and this member is allowed with some bs on its just this setting blah blah how can we now bring cases up in hopes to change this plague .

i am fine with reporting this as i strongly see this as a issue killing speed games but if were just going to condone it after being warned whats the point of us bringing this to light ,

so this will be my last post on the issue if admin does not care why the faak should i ,

There are tons of players deadbeating each day.
How is warning this player ( previous report) and now asking him to change himself the way to go, while we let everyone else deadbeating speed game on a regular basis ?

Furthermore, if we're going to punish players deadbeating speed games, why did you close all the reports Nut Shot Scoot opened a few weeks back after he get his warning ? Those were valid report just as zeus report on Nut Shot Scott was. Yes they were done out of anger because of the warning received, but were still valid.
Shouldn't it be either everyone that deadbeat speed game is warned ( if reported apparently ) - or no one ?

Anyway. Soon we will have a better resigned feature and we can get rid of all that BS. 8-)

its very clear and has been said don . its not just him but he does this daily plays his wins dbs the losses , as your self posting on this issue many times . i get pms often this guys one of them . as its stands i see no more need to try and tackle this issue if it is not going to be taken serious by admin ,the speed side is utterly dead and this is a real reason why. a better resign feature lol ok man but its not bs what is bs is to change a few simple rules to accommodate quitting a game . play it out man takes no time really yet this guys playing while deadbeating you dont see that as an issue ,

its im on a witch hunt lmfao, but as we can see more bitching and whining and were changing the resign feature . why stop there make it so ya can quit round 1 due to bad dice roll may as well . site has so few rules but if adding a flip the board option is a must for the candy ass losers so be it ,

again all games he db had resign feature included . has been warned prior continues on db losses plays his wins . and no those reports he filed were not valid i went trough and he posted players who were not even in the games posted , hottigers was 72 hour banned after warning for same thing more have been as well . i get numbers are low but this site for years and years was perfectly fine with out a flip the board option , to try and appease the remains may not be a bad idea as its gotten to the point now its just common, felt a need to try and clean up the worst in hopes the rest got the message , clearly i failed , so add the flip the board option to all games settings ect but be sure to add baby crying sound effects to accompany :sick:

Oh, and by the way, thanks for bringing ten more cases to our attention and we know that a bunch of those games that we punished you for had other deadbeats in them as well, some long before the game was over, but we don't care. Conquer Club reserves the right to suspend accounts and cancel Premium Memberships, with or without warning, of those players who are deemed to have violated the rules.
Rule #1: No multiple accounts

Multiple accounts are discovered by routine scans and community cheating reports. They are strictly forbidden whether or not they play in the same games or are even in use. If you suspect certain accounts belong to the same person, please report it following the instructions at the top of the Cheating & Abuse Reports forum.
Rule #2: No secret diplomacy

Any form of diplomatic discussion between opponents must only be posted in the game chat in English or in a language that all opponents understand. No other methods of communication may be used to hold diplomatic discussions between opponents including, but not limited to, the forum, the wall, Live Chat, or the inbox.
Unwritten Rules

Obviously any gross abuse of the game is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: throwing games or deliberately benefiting from thrown games, intentional deadbeating, holding players hostage, serial teammate killing, hijacking accounts, systematically "farming" new recruits and colluding with other players in any way to manipulate the scoring system.

Zeus, you are missing the point of my entire comment. The rules are the rules is a terrible justification for why the rules exist in the first place...and beyond that its pretty clear that if the overwhelming majority of players DB speed games that punishing the behavior would actually prevent people from joining the games more than people having to play vs deadbeats. If you have already won the game, why do you care if your opponent finishes it out or not?

Again, if the resign button is active and they DB vs Resign that is a different story, and its even the same in multi player games where DB's can affect the balance of power but it doesn't seem like you are isolating your dislike of deadbeating to only those instances but more the entire practice.

Last thought, if the Admin really cared about stopping this it would be a pretty easy database query to say find me every player who was kicked from the game for missing turns at least x% of the time in speed game loses. Create a threshold of some % and then review those users to confirm and issue warnings where applicable. Selectively policing based on who is reported is just plain inefficient and creates frustration.

every game dam near the accused dbs with the resign feature in round 10 on a daily basis was warned and continues to db games resign option is in play . i agree with most all site rules some i dont but play accordingly to current rules i take time out to bring attention to this issue only on the real hard core daily deadbeats with a hope others get the message, but cant see the logic in it any longer like you say if admin cares its easy to see .

we all have our opinions or beliefs on how things should be all are just that and not the current rules , why is it when site had 30 k members this was not an issue there was no need to add the flip the board option then nor is it now . i can totally see 24 hour games but real time action does not need to accommodate a quitter of 1 min speed game .

flip the board =resign its poor sports pissing and moaning about playing out a loss . its utter nonsense to even suggest this for speed games but site put a resign feature in and still dbs . so now lets accommodate more of this because players do not want to play out a loss :sick:

People wonder why speed games aren't played more. One major reason for me is this deadbeating. Every time I try a speed game I have this happen to me. And my foe list gets one person bigger. So why should I play speed when someone is going to waste my time.

Ah, I'm sure there's a number of reasons why many people don't play speed. Someone deadbeating because they have already lost wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. I might foe them if they came back to take a turn in the hopes that I'd also deadbeat, so they could steal the win. That's the main concern with people deadbeating out of games rather than using the resign button. Not everyone is honest.

When I tried out speed games in the past, I was met with griefing. I wasn't taking my turns fast enough for some people. I ended up foeing one guy, and in the end, I just didn't bother anymore. What's the point in playing a 3 minute turn if you're not allowed use some of that time to strategise.

You're a silly one, Knig-it. The resign rule son this site, as shown by the latest announcement, are super dumb, and cause people to waste a lot of time on games that are over.

Example: Game 20254289

This poor freemium has been stuck in this game for probably 9 rounds past when the game was well over. Even now, he can't resign, despite him having 10 troops to 550 and 15 territories to 100.

Game's that are over need to be able to be ended; give a forfeit button, and stop punishing people for not wasting time on dead games.

its the new norm and like yourself many many have bailed . i guess its just to much to ask of members to see games out. the players who left because they cant get a decent game in just dont matter clearly , if the site adds flip the board ppl will still deadbeat they are as of today , like nut shot scott still db ing 1v1 games with the resign feature already in ,

what ppl are not seeing is players are leaving as a direct result of this but as this is a closed topic ill just fade with all those who have left looks like we chose another site to implement cash games as this site just has too many lob sided rules that apply to some but not all has made a decision easy to like dam near 1 million others just log off ,

there is nothing here for us real competitive gamer s who want the best possible gaming experience not this , speed side a direct draw to pay to play has been killed by I DB . the site has such few rules but clearly letting this issue go cost site more players then they even know ,

safely i can say it just cost cc club 12k in new members or 48 k in direct revenue but hey flip the board option to accommodate those candy ass players who just cant play a loosing game out , is just one reason the multi accounts is the other . site can stop this so easy its sick they do not .

i took valuable time posting on this issue not in any way as a personal attack on players but more so to try and save that side of site ,oh well i can say as we are now closing in on such low daily players i did try , but when site admin punishes one a certain way others in another really did me in ,

there is nothing here for us real competitive gamer s who want the best possible gaming experience not this , speed side a direct draw to pay to play has been killed by I DB . the site has such few rules but clearly letting this issue go cost site more players then they even know ,

safely i can say it just cost cc club 12k in new members or 48 k in direct revenue but hey flip the board option to accommodate those candy ass players who just cant play a loosing game out , is just one reason the multi accounts is the other . site can stop this so easy its sick they do not .

i took valuable time posting on this issue not in any way as a personal attack on players but more so to try and save that side of site ,oh well i can say as we are now closing in on such low daily players i did try , but when site admin punishes one a certain way others in another really did me in ,
