Seems pretty straight forward. If it is their first time offense, is it just a warning?

Looking at their ranks i am surprised they would do it like that... How hard it is to drop a game link and have the discussion in the game chat. That way it is no secret. :-D

I posted a simple message on biggonso wall relating to one area (agreeing a border).....I play very very few many multiplayer games and didnt know it was against the rules.....(dont see that much diff to people agreeing ALOT more in the game chat)....sincere apologies if I made a faux pas. biggonso did not respond and is not guilty of anything....he must know the rule!

Well if a simple agreement along some border is illegal, then I am guilty!

At Major Command they have a diplomacy feature built right into the software, and this type of diplomacy is encouraged!

Agreements aren't, but making them secretly is. All diplomacy is supposed to be discussed inside in each game's chat; that's why it's called 'Secret Diplomacy,' and is indeed against the rules.

You miss a key element... Negotiations and truces are all good, so long as they are in that games specific game chat. That way it is no secret to the other players. Sometimes it offers an opportunity for other players to suggest better truce deals etc.

In this case, the guy in question was unaware about that detail, and obviously wanted to get fast attention from the other player.

Sweet as. I'd imagine you will get a warning to keep game talk to the specific games in free for all situations. life goes on :)

Well in that case, I will keep my diplomacy top secret.
