Arguable, bumped erratically by others, but last post from Aug16 until Thorthoth revived.

Comments:
It's an ongoing theme with Thorthoth to fill the forums consecutively with really old threads that have little to no substance to begin with, or have been long dead.
I appreciate an old necro bump every now and again, really like the history that's unfolded on here over the years, but he's simply doing this to troll. Symmetry at point had even accused Thor of necro bumping to the point of spamming. I strongly urge a moderator to issue a warning to Thor to cease with the necro bumping.

while necrobumping in itself is not an offense, excessive necrobumping is. I am currently looking into it.

necro-bumping is a slur. Posting is posting, it's as simple as that.
Judging the worth of a thread by it's last post date is arbitrary and absurd.
Besides, once a thread is added to (bumped, or vivo-bumped, if you will) it is just as up-to-date as a new thread made that day, except with a longer pedigree of information that can only make in more precious from a communicative standpoint.
This a witch hunt, nobody is being harmed by my posting on any threads. The brutes of the forum are just inciting a mob with pitchforks and torchs for some blood-sport.

MY antagonists have even built up a COMPLETELY GROUNDLESS accusation that my posting is the cause of the recent forum deletions. This is an obvious untruth. that has already be corroborated by Dukasaur, a mod with some regard for truth and integrity. Is he the only one? Do I need to make a countersuit to find out the real mod or admin who committed that atrocity for my name to be cleared? The way the rule of law plays around here that seems likely to be a futile attempt.

I am reminded of a line from a popular song, "They laugh because they know they're untouchable, not because what I said was wrong"....

Furthermore, many of the loudest complainers are a members of nefarious secret organization that unfairly considers the forums to be their own personal fiefdom. Likely, they prefer to post in the forums instead of their private user-group because being surrounded only by their own company must be torturously dull. Right now, it is likely that their user-group page is solely dedicated to my harm. ...But anyway, yes, they can still post in the forums too... but they need to learn to SHARE. I should add that one of the co-leaders of this organization is a high-ranking mod, POSSIBLY EVEN THE ONE THAT ACTUALLY DELETED THE FORUMS. The depth of graft and corruption that this would entail should give even CC's hardened criminal element a moment of reflective pause...

This whole campaign, including this spurious C&A case, is NOTHING but a SELFISH, MOB MENTALITY POWER GRAB by OVERLY-PRIVILEGED individuals that have gotten too used to having their own way.

Shall another innocent be burned at the stake, or have we moved past that? It appears we shall all soon find out.

I get a ban for posting in a thread that is 3weeks old..... Reason being, dragging up the past, carrying on a conversation that was already over. The accused bumped threads from over 10years ago with a long gone user running a poll on what beer they should have in the keg at an upcoming party(the next weekend). I understand there are protected species, and CC mods play favourites. Seriously, if you want any credibility won't someone rid us of this meddlesome priest(in the church of deliberate annoyance and trolling). Trolls at least exhibit some understanding of what constitutes humour.

Congratulations on attempting to inflate a 9 worded sentence with nothing but nonsensical filler. "I bumped a thread, therefor, it's up to date." is all you had to say.

Here's the rebuttal and something I've already tackled: If you're bumping a thread 5 to 10+ years old, with none of the original users present, and you're addressing them to do something IE:"Buy them a jar urine", you're both adding nothing to the conversation, and addressing someone who no longer is an active user, and is thus, wasting everyone's time, and bumping more relevant and current threads downwards. If it was maybe or perhaps two necro bumps, sure, but you have been spamming it.

Can we just agree this guy is a troll? I mean, he inadvertently admitted to the constant necro-bumping. The actual accuser admits to it. Can it get any easier? I'd rather send him on a permanent vacation, he's just...An annoying troll, not even a good one.

I used a lot of words because I had very complex multi-faceted situation to dissect and analyze.
In contrast, DDS's equally wordy reply could have been reduced to just saying that I supposedly broke a subjective guideline according to DDS' self-serving interpretation of that guideline.

It seems when DDS and others post, they are players posting posts, but when Thorthoth posts he is a troll that 'necrobumps' a term implying death, if not actual necrophilia (yeesh)... Still think 'necrobump' is not a slur?

The bottom line is that nobody finds every thread relevant or interesting, but that is no reason for one player to try to censor or otherwise eliminate another poster's writing.
The date of either the first or most recent post in a thread is a completely arbitrary measure of a thread's value, a subjective judgement in any case.

One could make an eequally valid or invalid argument that posters who constantly make new threads instead of reusing already available threads are the ones that are actually most cluttering up the forums with unnecessary threads. Think about that for a minute, somebody like mr. swdk or suxitoxin probably posts 4 or 5 new threads each week are all of those 'necessary' or 'worthy'?
Ultimately since no one can judge objectively, none should be allowed to judge subjectively either.

There's a difference between me ignoring your posts in a thread that I would enjoy reading, whether you contribute or not vs a sub-forum where I would see your name bumping threads consistently. The unfortunate part here is, the ignore button doesn't prohibit me from seeing you bumping threads like some inane school girl that discovered perfume.

And why are you attempting to draw a comparison to my posts vs yours? I'm not breaking any guidelines by posting in original or current content (threads), nor am I constantly bumping threads to annoy the community. If you're going to troll, could you at least have some originality, or creativity? Is that so much to ask?

In classic witch hunt style a mod should ban him as a test. If TT is innocent then at some point the ban will magically reverse itself.

Thank you, owen. It's true, most of the older OT threads that exist are the ones that I 'vivo-bumped'.
