Comments: xroads was holding fremiums hostage to win the most imporved. It is against the rules to hold players hostage especially freemiums. All of these games ended 1/1/2017. There are more, but I was suggested to post 10

there isn't a rule about not taking your turns soon enough. there isn't a rule about missing turns, you get booted for missing too many and often life or your game load can get in the way. for many, missing turns is a valid strategy. in order for you to prove he is holding players hostage, it is going to take a lot more than a missed turn here or there, or his not finishing games quickly enough when you feel he has a clear lead.
i'd be shocked if anything is done, because this doesn't meet anywhere NEAR the level of abuse that is usually needed for this type of accusation. toss in your claims about the scoreboard, and this is all this forum is about now. people chasing the prize in their OWN WAY, not being pleased with how another player is chasing it. then again, Kraphtone was just Guested for what many felt wasn't a very solid case, so this could enough. maybe this is how they are resolving the ongoing issue with the prize chasers. simply ruling against them, even when enough evidence isn't present for a "solid" bust.
good luck with this, but it seems like you are just upset because he is beating you at the monthly chase... this is going to be interesting...-Jn

My motivation is fairness.
I didn't ever know about the most improved scoreboard until Johnny Rocket posted the first C&A report on Xroads. I quit CC a year ago and came back around Christmas. I got lucky and won a speed BR. I won't be in the top 10 at the end of the month (unless I get lucky and win another BR), so it doesn't matter.
Why i posted this is because I don't think it is fair that xroads is getting away with point dumping because he did a nice job hiding what he was doing, when another player is banned for 30 days for doing the same.
I was told by a mod that it is hard to prove that xroads was intentionally throwing games. But the mod told me - "You have 2 way of attacking it. Either you find games in which xroad artificially prolonged the game against freemium, and this is holding player hostage, it's forbidedn. Or you find many game in which he obviously played some extra turns before winning, and you show that he manipulated the scoreboard using more turns to win that was necessary ( it has to be obvious, the DS is a good example)."
So using the mods advice I find 13 games finished 1/1/2017 showing what the mod asked for. I didn't look at every game, so I am sure there are more.

If you have 24 hours to take your turn and you do make use of that 24 hour time frame, that will not be be cheating. There is no obligation for players to take their turns as fast as they can either. If it's a casual game, then you can take your turns when you are most comfortable. We do have the rules to guide us but there are grey areas that is stuck in neither being wrong or right.
Just requoting this. It comes out from C&A topic against people delaying win / speed win.
It clearly said that " If you have 24 hours to take your turn and you do make use of that 24 hour time frame, that will not be be cheating." Implying that missing turn in order to delay your victory is not acceptable.
The examples in which xroads missed turn on the 31st december to get the win on the 1st seems to be more than questionable. That cross the line.

Notice 2 things
The guy complaining the most is the guy who is in 2nd place this month.
He conveniently didnt list any of the games that I missed turns in and lost, or played slowly and lost.
Oh by the way, sorry for missing turns on Christmas, I had 200 games at that time and spent a little extra time with my family.
In the last 6 weeks I have finished over 500 games, it is easy to cherry pick a few if you look through that many games. Some I played slow, some fast, some I missed turns, some I didnt. A few times I had sitters take a few turns for me when I was out of town. Easy maps, I can play from my phone. Maps like cricket is suicide to try and play from a phone.
Again, if you dont like the rules which have clearly been stated, try to change the rules.

FFS - I pointed out the rules you broke - Holding freemiums hostage.
What about misses on the classic maps? What about misses on the 31st? What about having 2 turns in a row in a poly game but only taking 1 turn and then missing the second turn? What about having 100 and 200 troops left at the end of a game?
Please show me a game that you finish on 1/1/2017 where you missed a turn and lost. I could not find any.
Keep trying to polish this turd. I am sure you will start with the personal attacks again and not answer my 4 questions above.

ooo what map is that?? those names sound cool and I've never seen them before..AM I MISSING SOME SECRET MAP THAT HAS BEEN KEPT FROM ME?! Sorry, thats all i got out of this complaint. Missing a turn is rather difficult when you have 4 games going, but he has...200 was it?? Just cause he's crazy to have that many games going at one time doesn't mean its his fault for missing a few

Frox i don't think its the fact that he missed the turn thats the problem. The problem is the timing of it, being one day before the scoreboard reset. Just my opinion.

It is cricket, and it is a bitching hard map.
And it is also one I cant/wont play from my phone.
Notice he again didnt list the turns I missed on these maps around the 12th of the month, just the ones that were at the end of the month.

Come on man. Own up to it.
Cricket - you had 2 turns in a row and only played one. You had no problem making the first in in a "bitching hard game", but you choose to miss the second.
Missed turns on the 12th? I can't list things that are not there. I went back and looked at the first 7 games and you missed ZERO turns on the 12th. Please back up your statements with evidence. It is your job to defend yourself with facts and not just more BS excusses.
Cheers.

Who pissed in your Wheaties Bob?
Xroads has been an upstanding player for the 5-6 years Ive played him. And Ive played him a lot because of tourneys and clans.
I believe by him casually explaining himself, and not really being defensive, its must be as simple as he explains......Just missed turns. Bob is trying to start a pissing match for unknown reasons (maybe self motivated?).
I dont know if Bob has ever tried playing 100 games at a time....Much less 200? To play that many successfully is painfully hard. Missed turns can and will happen (Unless you have 12+ hours a day to sit online for weeks). Just because you think you're being fucked....doesn't always mean your being fucked (unless you are "behind" Prison Bars) Seems like a frivolous report IMO............
Try Milk in your Wheaties Bob...... It tastes sweeter

Here
Sorry it was the 4th not the 12th, it was a busy month.
17031921
Luckily I had a sitter and he caught some of my games. Some other games I missed turns on around that time as well.
2016-12-04 10:57:17 - xroads: josko for xroads in all 9 games. he did not appear online today and many of his turns came close to misses so this is emergency sitting 2016-12-04 11:00:31 - xroads: edit: xroads came online at the same time like me and started playing. therefore, sitting was done only in first two games

Kind of funny coming from the guy in 2nd place this month. That is the only personal reason that is driving him.
He conveniently didnt list the 2 games I played him in the last 6 weeks.
17091925 This one I WON in December
17092897 This one I LOST in January

like i said prior, he hasn't broken a rule. with his game load and the holiday season, it is all understandable. the fact that the guy that is #2 on the list is complaining, should also weigh heavily on this. he believes that his uber lucky win in a battle royale should trump all the games Xroads has played in and won. get over it. suck it up cupcake. sorry about your little butt. nothing to see here, move along... until this scoreboard is eradicated, everyone that misses a turn or plays slowly, is going to be accused of cheating...-Jésus noir

Please stay on topic. This is not about me. I already responded to your allegations of my motivation. As you can see, I will not be top 10 long. I am not very good at this game. I have dropped to #3. I would be happy if the admins would remove me for the scoreboard. I don't care about it.
There are many player upset about how xroads abused the system. I found what I feel is breaking the rule - Holding freemiums hostage. You will notice that some of the freemiums that he held hostage quit. It is not good for the game for players to abuse they system. Being a new freemium and being trapped in a game is frustrating. A few of those games went on for a week. If this is allowed, new players will be held hostage in more games.
Imagine joining CC as a new player. You have lost a game, but you can't start a new one. Will you continue to login to see there is nothing to do or will you quit?

The black jesus is on thin ice. If you have nothing to do but ridicule people, STFU. Consider this an official warning.
Xroads might get away with his Eddie Haskell routine in the end, but "not proven" does not mean "innocent."

however, it does mean, "NOT GUILTY"... you guys invented this thing, so deal with the consequences of people gaming the system... people have always GAMED their scores... slow down losses against lower ranked opponents and beat higher ranked before they drop to assure max points... it is part of the game... you all made it a separate competition and you specifically seem to be truly appalled by what is going on. THEN CHANGE THE MONTHLY SCOREBOARD!!!
nothing can be proven, he is innocent. your issue is with the monthly scoreboard CC created, not the player "gaming" it. close this bogus complaint. the OP is upset that his attempt at "gaming" the scoreboard is second best to anothers "gaming" of the scoreboard... the black jesus has spoken...-Jn
p.s.-as a mod, that is a pretty dangerous and loose statement to make about a player in C&A. you pretty much just painted him as a cheater, no matter what the outcome. that is a step too far, in my opinion.
