Are we allowed to play Doubles games with friends?

I never knew that was an issue. I have several friends that I referred to the site and we often play games just among our selves. Ned is a friend that had never played before so I offered to show him the ropes in some doubles games, and doubles games only. You can see by the results that it cost me quite a few points. Are we not allowed to play as a team and coordinate moves in the doubles games? If ya ask me there are other things to worry about unless helping another person happens in the standard games. I loved this site and recomended it to several friends after becoming a premium member. I'd hate to think this site is just full of a bunch of whining kids that use the grievience system as a source of entertainment. Let me know if playing doubles with friends is disallowed, if so I'll no longer play doubles.

Of course it's not. Stop whining and take it like a man. And yeah, also "pull up your big girl panties!"

cannot see what the difference is
1. u team up in double with a friend or
2. u team up in double with a stranger
in both cases u still have to work together and communicate between yourself to win (could be smart not to do so in gamechat since everyone then will know your strategy) - use PM or MSN or something
there is no rule against this. that would be a rather pointless rule. the whole point with teams is to cooperate and function as a team.

you are allowed to play with friends, the problem that is addressed in most caseshere is when those supposedly "friends" play from the same computer then they are thought to be multis. It is that reason I do not Play my son in games unless we are a team then we talk onthe phone instanrte msg or even like highborn and I we go over or games with the morning coffee

maybe she has got one of them talk-about-panties radars?
once the word panties hits CC forum a red light flashes on top of computer and its time for print action
thought about getting one myself actually - tuned in for the words republican, soccer and off course panties

Mbohn..of course there is nothing wrong with it...there are only two rules and that breaks neither.
The problem started when I asked a very simple straight forward question and your "friend" ned blew up....I reciprocated....the grievance system has taken the place of the ignore list for now so it was used properly.
The site is full of great people and some bad.....teach your "friend" to correspond in a socially acceptable manner...those are good ropes to show and know.
And by the way, he didn't even understand what the difference is between MULTI and what he calls COLLUSION......you may want to explain....
That is the most I have ever seen you write...impressive!!

what can I say? Apparently my panties are a topic of discussion. lol
And I agree with Kool. There is nothing wrong with playing with your friends, but the way he responded was so uncalled for, when a question was brought up.

LOL... just had to read the gamechat in this game... LOL...
must say that NedFlanders needs a lecture in good behaviour - when asked all he had to say was that he/she and mbohn where not multies and that if someone wanted to check that up it was ok
bit instead he really got defensive and more or less totally freaked out
even if he/she isn't a multi he/she needs to get a good spanking for bad, bad response and behaviour

that's EXACTLY the point. if Ned had just said "we aren't" then that would have been fine. To freak out to the extreme he did, and call names...totally uncalled for.

I agree with Ned....you 2 REALLY need to get a life and stop worrying about who plays doubles together. Probaby was his point that neither one of you know when to just shut it.
