I played him today. Whilst not denying this would appear to be secret diplomacy, he has only played 63 games and may not be aware that this sort of thing is against the rules (otherwise he would have sent a PM). Perhaps you should have just called him out on it in game.

And looking at his profile he is a god-ugly SOB and should get some sympathy for that

My only thing is, do people even read the rules before playing or do they just play and think there are none?
I went through last night and re-read all the rules just to make sure nothing changed.

Well you dont get auto sent to them when you sign up, only the partial rules in "The Game" section.
