I'm not exactly sure what to post here but I will do my best.

In a Fractured China game (Game 15770633) we have a player who intentionally broke a truce and he/she even acknowledged it in the log. You can read the log is you need any further information.
But to say it we had a truce with sergeantscooby and have had this truce for over 10 turns. On the verge of victory he/she backstabs us at the last minute without any warning.

I am not sure if this is considered abuse but in my 6 years of this game I have never seen anything like this and I would just lke others to know and wonder what consequences he/she migth face.

Truces are made and broken all the time on this site....I have made a lot of them myself and to my knowledge, I have never broken one. But I have seen it happen plenty.....it pisses players off when it happens to you, but like everyone else that sees this report, I will tell you to foe them and move on. All's fair in war, which is what this site is all about.

- Though breaking truces is not against the rules here in Our lovely CC world, I will say its sneaky and devious in a sense of bad character, Someone one(s) who knowingly has a truce, and at the moment he/she clicks [BEGIN] is set out to break that truce, to me says the words trust and integrity are not practiced by that person(s). Though not against the rules, It should no way ever be considered a good strategy, and in the eyes of the major majority is frowned upon.

- PS - There are and have been times when a player has so many games going combined with RL that They were rushing through games and sincerely forgot that a truce was made in their mad rush,Then of course apologies by the truce offender made and forgiven, I can't think of another scenario besides that and maybe a vendetta?

I guess I'm the villain here. Well first off breaking truces isn't against the rules, to my knowledge. I don't make a habit of it, since this might be the first time I've done it. Way I see it, this is a game, and truces/diplomacy are part of the game. All is done in an effort to win the game. So the truce was only broken when there was no hope, and they are still going to win the game anyways.

I'd encourage anyone to read the whole log. I think the OP's team's language is much closer to a violation than anything I've done.

This is the important part of your claim. You might of had a truce but in your own words you were about to win the game. So if scooby sat back and allowed it, would scooby be in here on a secret diplomacy charge or throwing the game. Because of sitting back and allowing you the win.

Breaking a truce is not against the rules. After all he should be trying to win the game also. This is CLOSED.
