There is a lot of strategy involved with this map, obvious attacks may not always be the best option. I've known hopalong for a while and this isn't his style, especially since he's left CC.

I'm not sure what you see in this one to make you think any of those players were multis or conducting secret diplomacy. Hopalong quit the site and Loutil was playing out his games. Hopalong and Captn B have a fair number of games together. Evidently Lou and Captn had some miscommunication or something and Lou missed covering the turns. Since all of hop's turns are expired, he recently came back to visit and changed his password so no one else will be able to get into his account. It was (I think) the only one of hop's games still active, and a turn was only up every few days, so Lou probably just didn't check on it often enough to catch the turn being due.

I suppose you could accuse Jaybrake of sitter abuse if he was actually covering his teammate's turns when he didn't have to. But that seems pretty nit-picky, since all the other participants appeared to have no issue with it and he didn't speak up at the time.

thank you Coler for a good laugh!

it seems like I don't have much to answer for here thanks to iAmCaffeine and Doc_Brown, thank you both very much.

I started covering my friend joelsprylar's turns after him having missed 2 turns because he found the game boring and didn't want to play it anymore,
and was about to get kicked for missing his 3rd.
I only did that after having asked the other players in the game what they preferred out of the ONLY 2 existing options:
A. I start taking his turns from now on and for the rest of the game
B. I let him miss also his 3rd so he gets kicked and I gain his troops and territories

There hasn't been a single PM sent between me/joelsprylar and hopalong/loutil/Captn B, aside for when Captn B explained to all of us who were in the game what happened to his deadbeat partner, which was with all concerning players in copy.

If anybody has any questions or any reason at all to believe Italogq's embarrassing accusations,
please don't hesitate to contact me.

Best regards,
jaybrake
