It seems like maddmaxx12144 has been mad at people/ abusing the rating system when he loses games recently. I looked at his ratings, these bad ratings seem to have stated around the time I played a doubles game against him (Game 13805359). He gave me 2 stars. He's been doing it more often since that game. I bet this trend continues, this is all I see at the time of this post.

Worth noting is that there were 0 missed turns in the games that I listed. There was no trash talking either. Most of the time, there is some greeting about the game in the chat. All were losses except against peter and douglyn.

PMs and a wall post asking about my (personal) rating were unreturned by maddmaxx12144. You can see in my personal game I said "glhf" and my partner said gg when they finished the game. Nothing else. In my opinion he abused this rating against me.

If someone says "just foe him", why, my rating can't get any worse, and I'd like to beat him again anyway.

and dont take things so personally, you only decided to choose his ratings that where the lowest, and its not up to you to decide how people rate you.

I know I can but it's clearly ratings abuse in my opinion

I do not necessarily care about my rating.
Ratings serve a purpose and do have some use.

Gives you an idea who you are up against in Battle.
Learning to read a players rating can be just as valuable as game log.
Use it.

True, you will know a false rating from the fair ones.
If a player has more than three backstabbing in his ratings, I do not even consider him a candidate for a truce.

I rate constant truce makers, especially in games with less than 5people as cheap tactics. You also find people that make/break/have truces refused pop up in this forum more than others.

Do you need 10examples to show a pattern? Or have things changed since last I graced this site with my divine presence?

There are 13 more people, since my last post, that he rated at one stars. 2 ppl were deadbeats, the other 11 I haven't checked. That's not including this list of 4. There's also a curious rating of 2 stars on someone, but i didn't check that out.

I think that should be enough evidence, that's 11 i've listed here now. 11 or 12 more ratings of the last week or 2 could be checked as well.

ok so is still about 10 examples then. The sooner ratings are removed and replaced with win percentage or something else the better.

I played a 1v1 game against him, he basically just suicides all his troops everywhere, didn't say a single word, and then left me 1 star in fair play and empty in the other 2.

I beat this player twice over a couple of days and got rated 2* for fair play - sore loser? I'm new here and it makes my overall rating look pretty bad ...

Maxx had zero communication and the game was fairly quick. He even ended up winning because I was the victim of real real bad dice my first two turns and he dominated after that. The only communication I offered was "wow and the bad dice start again" and I made the rest of my turns. I received 1 star for fair play and zero for game play and attitude

I have had the same experience. maddmaxx12144 rated me with just one star after just one game we played, with no apparent reason. We just played, there was no communication between us during the game.

samething here, rated me a backstabber? 90% of our games together were head to head, who was i backstabbing, most of the chat boxes where silent other then a couple of gg's from me or a "good show" and also got called rude. about fifty fifty on who one the games me or maxx, thanks for poinitng it out

After playing three games with him in which he won two and I won one, he gave me a rating of 1 for fair play and 0 or unrated for game play and attitude with the tags Deadbeat, Rude, Backstabber, Uncooperative. You can see the games, we didn't say anything to each other except that I told him GL and GG for the game I won.

He is clearly abusing the ratings system. I played fairly and didn't miss a single turn or said any type of insults towards him. Also, its impossible to be a backstabber in a 2 player game. maddmaxx12144, you are foed! I don't care much about my ratings but I think something needs to be done about this to show that ppl cannot abuse the ratings system at will.

He got me too. I played him in 2 games, Game 13878590 and Game 13878592, empty chats & no missed turns.

Same with me. I won in a 1vs1 game and he gave me one star and tags including suicider. It's the same as with an other player TobyGerhartFan. I reported him to Conquerclub and he has received a warning. I blocked him (which I will now do with maddmaxx12144 as well) but their ratings remain.

i played against him 5 games won 3. nothing was said besides normal gl,gg, basic chit chat got 1 star
