Yeah...a lot of them..check rz1 games.
There was another report on another guy a bit similar with this one. In that case, all that people were working mates. Did u buy that?
I just guess this guy is smarter thah that. Not really farming his multis often , but use them to play teamgames so point loss/gain will not be dramatic
Well..i might be wrong, but nothing wrong with a simple research

Those are friends or so they claimed to me, don't see them making any exploit of it.

Will be happy to provide details to any moderators as necessary. There is a group of 8-10 of us that went to High School together. We started out playing cc together a few years ago and played against each other. We have since really only played team games together. Our core group is me, Culham, and Veni Vici Vidi. The others have rotated in as our fourth until recently when Veni Vici Vidi went on vacataion.

RZ1 and RZ2 are my two sons and melz is my wife. RZ2 and melz don't play very often. Ghengis Pauv, Hennells Hoard, RZ1, and Sep Dogg are other the guys that commonly act as our fourth.

I'm sure that all of them can hop on and provide details. If there is something specific you need to verify identities, I'm sure they would all be willing. I'll email them the link to this thread.

So, whats the problem? I see them playing team games which hardly against the rules. Another note at least 3 of them are premium, something a multi would hardly do. And as long they are doing team games/ playing competively against each other, then I don't see the problem.

Exactly this. Most of us have been friends for 20+ years. We started out playing against each another as a means of staying in touch, and switched to team games a couple years ago. Will also be able to provide any verification needed to prove separate identities.

I did have a look through their games yesterday and there's nothing to suggest that any of them are farming any of the accounts. Even rz1 and rz2 appear to be genuinely killing each other in various games and the small ones have taken points off the bigger players.

The way rz1 and rz2 play doesn't make sense for multies. Why have multies that they don't benefit anything from?

There's no pattern of any sort to suggest cheating. At least from what I see from just looking at games. Sometimes, people just enjoy playing games together with people they know, like their own mini-clan.

Haysez and Culham, thanks for your words.
Hope you dont feel offended by me, doing a research request.
As you might know there has been loads of different people abusing the site and the scoring system..So when i looked at some of your games and partners i found it suspicious and worth to look at.
I just hope you are right

I might add that I've had the pleasure of playing a game against them, and they are fun players! I went through a similar situation when I first started on CC in 2007. I found the site and invited a bunch of family and friends to join. We'd played RISK in real life together for years, so we thought we'd check it out. At one point a couple of us were accused of being multis, but we were were cleared upon closer inspection. Over time the others in our group dropped out, but there are still a couple of us die-hards left on CC. So I can understand how it might look suspicious, but I really don't think these guys are multis.

I'm not necessarily offended, simply confused.

What started out as a formal accusation has been adjusted to the backhanded backtrack of a "research request." And thus far, the only evidence provided has been that we play a lot of games together, and that there was "another report on another guy a bit similar with this one." Conciliatory and semi-apologetic language has been offered up, but then coupled with the snarkier tone (ie "I just hope you are right.")

So which is it? A genuine (and completely understandable) research request, or the currently active formal (and one could suspect even gleeful) accusation levied against the 6 of us listed in the original post? Every counter-comment made by others in our favor is met with skepticism. One could even infer that you would PREFER to have us be guilty of the original claim.

Clearly this isn't a sour grapes accusation, because to the best of my knowledge, none of the listed accused have played a single game against the OP. We have a game against the OP beginning, and I suspect he discovered the pattern of our game play while researching us as his upcoming opponents.
And while there ARE people who violate the rules to game the system and gain advantage, we are not those people. Our gameplay pattern, while possibly not conventional, does not seem to merit a reactionary accusation from someone that we've never faced on in a game. This doesn't feel like altruistic self-policing. It feels more like a witch hunt.

So, to the Mods (and whomever else may be responsible for handing down the decision): please let us know what WE need to do to provide proof of identity, proof of fair gameplay, and proof of adherence to the rules. Because we have absolutely nothing to hide, and would like to get this increasingly silly matter resolved.

Culham
I admit that when i searched on you, you looked suspicious and my words might have been in someway unkind and looked like an accusation.
After hearing what you and your partner said , ive wrote directly to you saying that what i want is a simply research and no kind of smelly accusation.
No sour grapes here neither witch hunting.I dont usually do reports on people.
So again,I apologise for any unfairness on my words.
i just want a clarification from the mods

Apology accepted. You can understand on the somewhat emperical nature of your comments (predicated on the assumption that we WERE a multi) that we interpreted them as having something of a "guilty until proven innocent" tone. But now that we've gotten everything laid out on the table, and the Mods are in the process of researching and clarifying, we're at the "no harm no foul" stage. We're confident that everything will be cleared, so all is good.

In the meantime, HayesEZ and I will get on our teammates to finish deploying in our upcoming 2.1 game and we can get back to the proper business at hand: dynamic strategy and grumbling about dice!

I confess I'm already biting my nails over that game. Methinks we have quite a battle on our hands!

I'm sure our performance in our most recent game has you seriously trembling! It's not too often that we look at each other DURING ROUND 1 OF A AUTO-DEPLOY and say "well, this game is over already."

Well played....looking forward to round 2!

Figured I would weigh in, briefly, as my my cohorts have rambled at length.

First, we certainly appreciated any inquiry into cheating, because cheating drives us all nuts. We like to win, certainly, but appreciate a fair game above all.

Basically, culham, hayesez and I have been doing this for a while with an occasional 4th (rz1, ghengis pauv, sep and hennell). All buddies from high school save for rz1 who is an offshoot of hayesez. But that's all been said. Our history indicates we started playing against each other, then began to see the joy of team games and have never looked back. Enough said about that.

We are down with any inquiry because we have nothing to hide. As I said, whistle blowers tend to uncover cheating, and cheaters have no place in CC because that's totally lame, so no worries on the inquiry, especially since we have nothing to hide.

Let us know what else we can do to alleviate your concerns; we will be happy to do whatever it takes.

you normally have nothing to provide guys; mods like BG just go for an IP check, and since you guys don't all have the same IP adress + there is no fishy pattern in your games it all ends there. cheers! It's nice you guys managed to create a group of high school friends in here!
