Comments: I want to report expected rating abuse. I have the player bad ratings after having deadbeaten a speed game, and joined/started another speed game instead. Couple of weeks later (today) he joined another game I had started, only to leave me bad ratings to return the "favor". The player wrote the following on my wall:


"when i see the end of the game, no matter game is officially over but times there are game is sided, then i tend to deadbeat to fasten/speed up the game to get done... for this reason, you left me real good!!! ratings... You know what you left, dont you ? Well, at your level/inteligence of player, i care these ratings left, i wudnt if you were reckless noob... Anyway, reason i played the previous game, the feudal epic one 5 mins ago, is purely because i wanted to leave real good ratings to you too...You will have em in a week ? Enjoy the stars i left".

I know this is not much, but I am a player that cares for his ratings. I have worked "hard" for having a high rating. I would like that the expected rating from the player will be cancelled. Indeed, he has no reason to give me a bad rating: I have been polite and finished both games. I responded by offering him a better rating, in exchange he will give be a good (accurate) rating as well.

It is my hope the rating will be deleted.

Please post at least 5 incidents of Ratings Abuse by the player accused. Without that, an isolated incident will be Closed.

This is an isolated incident.

I didn't expect that the player would be warned or in another way punished.
I was hoping that the unfair rating he gave me simply to get a revenge, which he only could do by joining another game I had started, would be deleted/cancelled.

lol dcr you are asking for 5 bad ratings. can i plz just ask the op for 1 bad rating (the one against him) all i can see is ha saying he gonna leave him a nice rating.

Maybe you can explain how you gave a one star across the board and a tags of Slow, Silent, Clueless to fr when he beat you in the only game you played with him!!! Game 12202155! I am sure losing 64 points to him didn't help much! But the rating you gave him is definitely ratings abuse!

Pherhaps I shoud've waited until the rating from HardAttack is official, but there is no doubt in my mind the rating will be bad.
I was hoping someone could look into that for me, and stop it if correct.
In my mind, silent deadbeating is not a proper way to finish a game (hence the initial bad rating by me), and I certainly don't think it is cool
to join a game only to leave a bad rating (given that is the case).

Regardin the game against fr. He was slow. In 17 rounds he ran out of time 8 times. He won the game on luck, not tactics.
The reason for 1 star in gameplay was that he was very slow; the attitude rating was because he didn't acknowledge the game, which I find a bit rude when you get over 60 points.
Was I upset for losing over 60 points... very much. The 1 star rating for fair play was uncalled for and not necessary, and neither was the "clueless" tag.

I'm not looking for trouble. Simply don't want bad rating when I did nothing to deserve it

Ok on this map with a one minute setting even I would run out of time once in a while even using clickies and I have played the map over 1000 times...if he doesn't use clickies even more so! Got to remember we all aren't as fast as you are...if I was him I would not have joined a 1 minute speed game...even he complains about losing spoils because of time...where I am at (Mexico) I try not to join a game with less than 3 minute turns because the server can get really crappy and I have lost games because my server!

first of all, be a man, in the second place, be a honest man, dont double cross or fool around...
in third place, have some balls but DO NOT DELETE but stand behind what dirth you left there in my rating place drpunk, drpall*

some questions here,
1/ you claim it that you care A LOT of what other players leave ratings for you, but interestingly you give it less than 3 seconds leaving stupid ratings for other players, example, my case...expecting other players be carefull and reasonable while they leave you rating, but you leave for them real BS ratings carelessly and freely... Dont you think there is something wrong in this scene ?
2/ i did not take a snapshot of ratings you left to me, SOMEHOW i SADLY see it now you deleted it... WHY DID YOU DELETE IT and why did you hide the evidences drpank ? Why this much scared ?
3/ you claim it that you ask me to correct ratings, it is on my wall now, what you write is on my wall, and in it you ask me to make better rating calls for each others... Well, is it a trade ? If you can trade what you believe on how someone is ? If i leave you good ratings, then you will leave me good ones is what you say... This is wrong, your ratings no matter bull shyt or true, should stay there untouched but you shouldnt deleted it, or changed it...Your ratings you left to me, do they change due to my reflections ? If so, it is so so sad mate... It is sign you are so so much switchy depending on situations, changes in what you believe a player to be...Well, bad character if you ask me...
4/ keep in mind, I CARE A LOT of ratings ppl leave me too, i do my best for it too, very similar with you !!!! Or did you feel i am a moron ?
5/ Bud, stand behind what you say, what you write, what you picture, what you show, not temporarily but all the time...It is path of the man...

I strongly believe you are a moron, and i left appropriate ratings for a moron (you in my case) all 1 stars and a few nice!!! tags.
I AM NOT DELETING MY RATINGS, i am standing behind my acts but not crying like a little cissy girl around...

I am, %99 of times, reasonable, and i leave 5 stars to all players i play but there are idiots sometimes, just like you, takes my time thinking leaving good!!! ratings.

You leave me 1 stars in all fields...I might had understood if you left 1 star in game play, but you left in all fields 1 stars FOR MY DEADBEATING in a game cos GAME WAS VERY DECIDED - game was sided, you were winning it, and i didnt want game to take 115 turns but wanted the game to get to an end earlier cos game was decided.

For an act to be an abuse, there should be a systematical abusing of it...I can comfortably say it well that, you are ONLY PERSON i left 1stars in my last 500 games !!!! See ? I am not abusing rating system.

I am not looking for a fight, and I am not interested in a big discussion about this. It's not worth it. That being said, let me reply to some of your comments.

1) I did not delete my ratings to you. I updated them after our last game against each other. When you change the rating, the old one dissapears, until the new one comes in. So to be clear - I did not delete the rating - I edited it.

2) No, I do not feel the rating is not something you should "trade". However you may think so, hence joining the game to give me a bad rating as well? After your wall comment I looked at your previous ratings. I noticed you both receive good ratings, and you give good ratings. Hence, I drawed the conclusion that you are not a moron, and not a rating abuser. I found it very strange that you would join a game only to revenge a bad rating. If you only had dropped me a PM, explaining you always deadbeat a lost game, I would've taken the rating back. I decided to try and talk to you and see if we could forgive and forget by giving each other reasonable rating instead of this.

While I stand by my initial rating (apart from the fair play rating), my offer stands to burry the hatchet and give each other a reasonable rating. While you think I am a moron I don't think you are one.

Finally, just to make it clear... our first game was not trench. I (hardly) ever play this map as trench. When you decided to deadbeat and leave the game without a word, there couldn't have been more than two rounds left.

I'm sorry you think I am a moron, but hope you can look at this from my perspective as well.
You may not have deserved that bad rating from me, and I don't deserve a bad rating from you - I think.

That's a good point. I didn't think about it could be because of a slow connection/server.
Most players mention that in the chat though. But not all players use the game chat I guess.

(I don't use clickies either, I never got the hang of it Have a good connection though).

To me, update it/delete it are the same. It is a sign well you trade in return to receive good ratings from one you left bad ratings ?
It is a change you went in after you see the reflection but i believe you hoped no reaction, at least looks like it worked till today well huh ?

You insistingly trying to pull reason why i left bad ratings to you to be basing being vindictive ratings...I tried to explain it above, i think you dont get it well, so let me repeat myself once again. It is not vindictive but it is i feel/believe you are moron, and i just felt like i needed to leave such ratings to you i believe appropriate for any moron. Considering your texting this accuasition to take 10 minutes, then you didnt even give me ONE SINGLE minute to reply to you but immediate after you walled me, then you came here and made your report. I am sorry about the trench thing...My %99 of last 600 games are trench, so i am confused about it... But it is cyrstal clear truth that game was decided and i left it to you... Somehow i find it quite interesting, same situation happened many times, and first time i see it you TO REACT this bad...Well, sometimes my opponents, type it gg and leave, most of time i ask in game chat HEY OPPONENT, THIS GAME IS YOURS, I AM GIVIN IT UP, DO YOU MIND ? But in our game somehow i was mad with dice or something, i was angry then kept it slient and left...Well, why do you make this so so big ?

B. I think both reports are a genuine waste of time for our mods.
C. If you really hate playing with the guy so much that you'd file a report there is something better for you to do.
