because no one else seemed to catch it, was actually following up on a different player to see why they rate why they do and came upon this game. Don't know if I broke any rules doing that but getting to the point of craziness with the way some of these players talk to others and if the only thing i can do is become a fink then so be it as i found it completely uncalled for. My wife was going to join cc and usually can take verbally whats given to her but she see's comments like that and wont join and even wants me to stop sight. Getting mad is one thing but again that kinda of stuff is un called for even seven months later.

May I ask how they were dealt with? Cause it sort of looks like you have a player who named himself after someone famous for being part of the Holocaust threatening to kill Jewish people.

Did the offensive username rule not kick in, or was there just a slap on the wrist and a suggestion to not be too vocal about the wanting to kill Jewish people stuff in future?

Regarding prior punishment

Inform the user via PM that unless publicly acted upon, such as in a public Cheating and Abuse Report, the matter is a private issue between the user and Team CC, and we respect the user's right to privacy. Inform them that they can contact the user involved and the user may divulge their information if they wish to, but as mentioned, we will not.

Regarding the offensive username, I will look in to it further.

Oh and if anyone is wondering why the anti-semitic poster who named himself after an an anti-semitic fascist dictator involved in the Holocaust had trouble naming himself, as if there were 87 other Il Duce's around, the 88 bit has a neo-fascist meaning too.

I'm against a ban on the username. "Il duce" doesn't carry offense to most people, not like how when you hear "fuhrer" you automatically think of Hitler and bad shit. Mussolini just isn't as controversial... and the 88 thing come on that's a stretch you can't ban a two digit number.

So you think that a dude called "IlDuce" ain't as controversial as "fuhrer"... fine, at least you accept that it's controversial.

The 88 bit, you consider irrelevant, although there's plenty of evidence for fascists considering it relevant, and we've got the fact that the dude named himself after an important fascist... coincidence? Perhaps.

Then we have the complaint of anti-Semitic bigotry, so we know the guy has publicly made his feelings about Jewish people clear "Christ-killers" as he terms them, and threatened violence against them.

I'm not sure what other evidence is needed.

For his comments against the Jews he should/has received discipline.

Stalin killed far, far more people than Hitler and Mussolini combined but BigBallinStalin's name does not have a connotation of hatred... similarly Il Duce or even Mussolini doesn't convey the same thing as Hitler or anything Nazi related.

You're putting him on trial for his beliefs, those are irrelevant, only his actions... punish him for what he said not for what you think he is.

Um, the mod team have said they're looking into the offensive username, bit difficult to talk about that if you don't want the name discussed. Kind of important evidence for bigotry, no?

BBS also didn't put neo-Nazi code for "Heil Hitler" in his name and get punished for calling Jewish people "Christ killers" while threatening them.
