It seems like there was a lot of talking in the game, but it didn't seem particularly secret. Shawnspack is good at convincing people.

I don't see any evidence that they teamed up. It seems that they are on opposite sides of the map. In Trench Game play, it is VERY hard to attack the leader if you aren't adjacent to him.
