Accused:
mshieldsEZ2Score21The accused are suspected of:
Being Multis
Conducting Secret Diplomacy
Game number(s):
Game 10952976Comments: Playing in an 8 player game on Hive. Found it odd that mshields and EZ2Score21 both employed identical tactics (bury a huge stack in the corner) and did not have any significant attacks against each other all game. Thought it was strange enough that I became curious if these two guys had ever played together in the past. Was very surprised to discover a tonne of games played together. Perhaps they are just friends but it might be wise for someone to check IP addresses and keep this on record. In multiple games that I checked out they either play as partners or do not launch serious attacks against each other. If these guys are indeed collaborating it sure gives them a competitive edge.
Apologies to both if I'm mistaken but this should be looked into in greater detail in my opinion

LOL. Beautiful. We are friends and roommates. I joined b/c he showed me the game and I watched him for quite a while. Why would I multi and pay for 2 premium accounts? As you will find there are several different computers that we play (our workplaces and at home), so please research.
So that I can help with the research, let me show a few games where we attacked each other viciously throughout (there are many, many more):
http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=11070620http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=10965458http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=10732318http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=10070185http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=10401704That took just a few moments. It's sad you started this because you're angry you lost, but you didn't provide a link to games. It's a shame these guys have to waste their time with requests like this. Hopefully the links above (which you didn't provide) will help speed up this time-consuming process.

I'm not angry that I lost - I've lost plenty of games over the years and am mature enough to handle it. It's also just a game and something I enjoy playing.
It's nothing personal against either one of you. I'm just saying it's suspicious.
I reviewed the links you provided. It's unfortunate that all of the games were played on fog. Hard to tell if you're really attacking each other's stacks or if you're just helping each other by gifting territories. In the end I'll never know and I'll just have to take your word for it.

Is conquer club so important that your friend cannot wait to be home or at work to play? He plays when you are there and yourebtelling us theres no secret diplomacy happening? I smell fish, sorry.

That comment makes no sense. We mainly play when we aren't even near each other (work). We play in some doubles games together and that is where we work together. You can see in the game he is referring to now that we are both attacking each other. You're telling me that friends don't play together? The only thing that we have in common is the style in which we play. I watched him and now play similarly. We dont' help each other. In fact, it hinders us to play together b/c we both like the same spots on the maps. For example, we both try to get to Oceania or SA in classic maps so we end up attacking each other to get there.

Yeah, this is pretty sad. I don't really feel the need to comment on this type of thing (because IP address can be checked, etc.), but friends play together all the time. Mike and I have had TONS of games where we've gone all out on each other and others where we have seemingly not attacked one another. If Xavier truly has a problem, I'd request that he post other games for the moderators to review and research (there are TONS for you to review, so I'm sure you can find at least a few to support your case, right?). Once you take the time to do this, you'll find there is fair play.
There is a group that has followed me (as I've followed another friend) and we've all discussed strategies to this game. If that means we tend to play similar, so be it. We learned how to play from each other.

Easy solution, don't play multy player standard games together, you can see why people would suspect you both of conducting secret diplomacy. Sure looks suspicious to me. If you want to learn a map play each other 1 vs 1 and keep the playing field honorable.

You can't play games with your friends? I didn't realize that was a ConquerClub policy and I'm sorry that I broke the rules (didn't realize that was the case). Could someone point me to the rule so I can refer my friends to this as well?

I think this is a example of you not helping as he was weak and you kept hitting him, however the fog it up and if your roommates or buds that somehow could not be fair. Just my opinion I have had freinds play not not in a multiple player game. No one ever knows but it just looks suspicious when room. Ages play fog games if you ask me, but game on!! You both pay so play if your not playing fair the log will show don't mind what everyone else THINKS.

Except we've shown a ton of games that have finished that show that it is fair. The first game in question also makes no sense. We aren't helping each other as we are in completely different areas of the map. Why would you attack someone from across the board in the hive map? That also makes no sense. We also were not the stronger players. Xavier was as he had the most regions. That is why he was being attacked.

I have looked and can't find enough solid evidence to be convinced of secret diplomacy. I would suggest if you guys continue to play these games let people know that you are room mates. Calling each other by your color in the game only makes it look like you are trying to convince people that you don't know each other. Although I am not totally convinced there is secret diplomacy I am going to NOTE this for future reference.
