Accused:

English Army
Spanish Army

The accused are suspected of:

Being Multis
Conducting Secret Diplomacy

Game number(s):

Game 10784559Standard Game
Game 10894125 Same Team
Game 10555814 Same Team
Game 10407618 Same Team
Game 10931480 (My Game, DIFFERENT TEAM)

Comments: I Dont want to be screwed out of a game because someone have two seperate accounts of different teams in my game so i researched a little. Spanish Army stated in the doubles game that im in right now " Spanish Army: GL ALL!!! haha hey! let´s see who is better the English Army or the Spanish one!!! ".. i thought it was a little weird to run across names like that in the same game. So i thought id check it out. Seems they have played some games together already. Doubles on the same team, Standard games. So i found it a little weird that in the message he would act like he hadnt seen the name before. So i look into some of their games and here is what i came across:

Game 10784559 STANDARD GAME

2012-04-02 04:53:02 - English Army ended the turn and got spoils
2012-04-02 05:00:49 - Spanish Army received 3 troops for 7 regions

2012-04-06 13:29:52 - English Army ended the turn and got spoils
2012-04-07 13:29:52 - Spanish Army missed a turn
2012-04-07 13:29:52 - Incrementing game to round 5
"He ran outta time before he could take his turn with spanish army im guessing, who knows"

That was a singles game, and not once throughout the entire game till the very end did either of them attack each other. Always attacked other people but never each other. the map is pretty small so seems a little strange that they never once attacked each other throughout the entire game.

Here is the game im in now

Game 10931480

2012-04-16 14:23:45 - English Army ended the turn
2012-04-16 14:24:05 - Spanish Army began deploying initial troops

As, the game just started that is all i can go off of right now

most of the games shown are sequential so there is no way to really show any proof. But i found it ironic that they didnt attack each other in the singles game, Played some doubles games together on the same team then now all of a sudden are on different teams? Also that he would "act" like he hadnt seen the name or something. just something to look into i guess. aint much but maybe enough to spark some interest.

And how do you explain they are from 2 different countries more than a 1000 miles apart?

Your country is determined by your IP address, so it's not as easy as choosing your flag.

Just seemed weird to me that he would team up with him many times then all of a sudden go in opposite teams and act like he didn't know the other name that's all

Your complaining about 2 players in the 2nd round of a game because in the troop deployment range they happened to end and start so close together??????????? The word "Paranoid" comes to mind. What their end game here even if they are???? They're on separate teams in a 4 team game.

Seems to me quite plausible that these are two pen-pals (possibly from England and Spain no doubt) that enjoy playing Risk together. Perhaps they have mutual goals of winning the game, can you blame them? I'm sure they'd like to see each other in 1st and 2nd place. However, this arrangement is not clearly indicative of a secret alliance or a multi. Ultimately, one must lose and the other win.

Nay, I say use your clear military tactician knowledge & prowess to best them in a match. For even the strongest of alliances can be broken by the worthiest of opponent.

Best of luck. For Frodo.

Probably the case, but if they are working together in a standard game without noticing it in the log it still is against the rules.

thats more of less what i found questionable about it all. I found the names weird so i looked around. The standard game stood out alot because during the entire game they never attacked each other till the end. then i noticed they were in doubles games together and now all of a sudden seperate. But their Rankings are VERY different. Spanish is like 1600-1700. English is like 900. So being the fact that it seemed they worked together in the standard game it was only fitting that spanish one. And to ke_rassa, Im pretty sure the point of this forum is to bring stuff to the admins attention that seems fishy. And him writing in the message acting like he didnt know the guy when he really does, then the standard game seemed fishy to me. Has nothing to do with my game cause im not concerned about losing..

I took the message in the game chat a completely different way. I took it as almost taunting to the other player because they know each other. Like what you would say to a buddy if you were playing against him in a sport. Kind of like " Is that all you got?" sort of thing.

The probably know each other, definitely not Multis in my mind, but a long stretch for SD.

Having come across SD myself, it's all fair it being in doubles/any team based games (As long as they are on the same team) but to involve other players in a possibly biased game is unfair especially if the person is paying to play CC.
The names cry out multis as it's too much of a coincidence that they play that many games together and have similar names to each other.
Personally I'd call it SD as they've playing against innocent and unknowing opponents which is against CC rules.

my guess: spanish armada was friends or room mate with english armada while he was on an erasmus program in a scandinavian country and made him join CC. now they finished their erasmus and both of them are back home since late 2011 and enjoy playing each other on CC.
