Accused:

Neil Champion

The accused are suspected of:

Other: "NR farming"

Game number(s) / Comments:

Looking at Neil Champion's last game page (100 games):

Game 10684595 1 NR
Game 10680454 1 NR
Game 10680299 1 NR
Game 10679819 1 NR
Game 10679630 1 NR
Game 10675561 1 NR
Game 10671861 1 NR
Game 10666714 1 NR
Game 10633103 1 NR
Game 10632086 1 NR
Game 10628421 3 NR + 1 NR (at time game started)
Game 10606364 1 NR (at time game started)
Game 10598092 1 NR (at time game started)
Game 10597358 1 NR
Game 10570967 1 NR
Game 10563438 1 NR (at time game started)
Game 10557727 2 NR (at time game started)
Game 10556796 1NR + 1 NR (at time game started)
Game 10550431 1 NR (at time game started)

EDIT: It should be pointed out that the NRs listed above are only those "above" Neil Champion in any give games. E.g. if a 5-player game has 1 NR as player one, Neil Champion is player 3 and another NR is player 5, only the player one NR is listed. (Of course a game can fill up in a number of ways, but here I assumed that Neil Champion consistently joined before any NRs further down in the list of players in the games.

All in all, 24 NRs have been targeted during the past 3-week period (last game on page 1 was initiated 3 February 2012). NRs were targeted in 19 games out of the last 100 (i.e. NRs targeted in 19% of the games).

Granted, there are a lot of different games on the last page, a lot of different opponents. But still, simple facts being that NRs have been targeted in 19% of the games amounting to a total of 24 NRs (about 7-8 per week during the last 3-week period). Seems like a lot to me.

How many cooks/cadets/first privates you gonna play alstergreen? 19% is a relatively high number, but it's lower than many others.

This is a real stretch alster.

I wouldn't be surprised or blame them if they slapped you with a "filing frivolous complaint" vacation.

I don't think it is. It's a lot if 1 of every 5 games joined targets a NR. Seems pretty "systematic" to me. And it is over 100 games/3 week period, so not just about joining a few games against NRs. And, it is joining, not setting up games that tends to attract NRs (it's much more of conscious act to join a game than passively knowing that NRs can join a game). For joining games, a 19% NR targeting rate is high. (E.g. 19 games joined against NRs of 200 games/1 month has been considered sufficient to constitute NR farming.) So don't think it's a stretch.

But I don't forsee anything else than that Neil Champion will be asked to keep the NR farming rule in mind in the future (as it should be the first time a player strays too far into targeting NRs).

alstergren, do you keep posting these reports to try and show you were not the only one at it?

The dude is a Private right now... and was a PFC when he played a game against me. How can you justly say he is farming when sometimes he has points less than a New Recruit?

NR farming is only about targeting NRs in a systematic way. The fact that you lose is not an excuse. The rule is about preventing regular players from seeking out NRs on a regular basis. It all comes down to volume & relative share of games played. 24 NRs in 3 weeks / targeting NRs in 19% of the last 100 games can be (has been) considered a breach of the rule.

Your starting to sound like a bank robber that is complaining about a destitute and homeless person who has stolen a rotten piece of meat from the local grocery stores dumpster.

Seems some things never change, hey Alster? Looking at just your first page of games, 65 of your last 100 games are against player with a private ranking or less.
And then you have the nrve to file these crap complaints?

You make me want to throw up in my mouth.

He's trying just to justify his playing against low ranked people. They should just ban Alster.

Neil Champion is CLEARED of NR farming.

HE is playing a pretty wide range of maps, he is joining maps with people other than NRs involved, and frankly he is not using any type of play that would be considered farming apart from joining games with NRs in them occasionally. He plays standard with both manual and auto, plays a variety of maps, joins with ranks of all kinds, and uses almost all of the settings available, and that's just on the first two pages. This is closed.
