The accused are suspected of:
Being Multis/Account Sharing

Comments:
bearcat7734 & Gen.LeeGettinhead are father and son and it seems like they are doing one of two things...
1)they are sharing the same account which is against the rules..
2)bearcat took over the Gen.Lee account at some stage from his Dad and would make the Gen.Lee account a Multi seen as bearcat joined the site 10 days before Gen.Lee, which is against the rules...

First I will first prove that GLG and bearcat are related and also father & son...

here is a couple of games that GLG played on his first day on the site...
Game 2711557.....(Day 1 of GLG's CC Career)

so GLG has a son.......................

Game 2712910.....(Day 1 of GLG's CC Career)
He then plays this game against bearcat and the chat would suggest that they at least no each other but not enough proof to suggest that bearcat is the son he talks about in the first game..

but if we have a look at a game played between GLG, bearcat & FlashHawk a few days later..

FlashHawk(Brian)................Joined: Sun Jun 08, 2008 5:05 am (joined 6 days before bearcat & 16 days before GLG)

a little backround first on Flashhawk...from what I can gather Flashhawk & Bearcat are/where collage buddies...here is a couple of examples..
Game 2753271

Game 2785447...playing as a doubles team this time..
Game 2725086...playing as a doubles team this time..
flashhawk played a total of 18 games before leaving the site and 8 of them involved bearcat...

Now this is the game that PROVES that GLG and bearcat ARE father & son...

what is kind on interesting is that both GLG & bearcat where reported after only 2 months or so on the site for Secret Diplomacy...maybe it was or maybe they where already sharing accounts at this early stage...

show: VERDICT

if we have a look at all standard games played with GLG & bearcat.....(20 GP - 10 wins for GLG and 8 wins for bearcat)
and in nearly all these games they finish 1st and 2nd and also never acknowledge that they know each other always referring to each other by colour

I think its blatantly obvious that GLG and bearcat where playing with an agenda in these games and also of interest is there final standard non 1v1 game together......Game 3136982
was played on 27th August 2008 same day as the C&A report

ALL THE ABOVE PROVES THAT GLG WAS THE DAD AND BEARCAT WAS THE SON

what is also of note is that bearcat had a premium account and GLG had a freemium account but bearcat leaves the site for 5 months from this Game 4299518....game finished on 20th Feb 2009
and returns for a 1v1 game with GLG....Game 5323250 - 27th July 2009
at the time bearcat leaves the site this is how there scores looked.....

Gen.LeeGettin.....score on the 20th Feb 2009 = 2463
Bearcat.........score on the 20th Feb 2009 = 1436

bearcat had 650 games played and still had a few months left on his premium when he just decided to quit..
was it something to do with the fact there was now a second C&A report against GLG...

Second C&A Report - 17th January 2009[NOTED]

with the couple of C&A reports and the point difference and the fact that GLG was well under way in his "style" of playing games to minimize points losted there was no need to bring any more attention upon himself..so was this the point they start sharing the GLG account or bearcat took over the account from his Dad

bearcat then returns 5 months later (now as a freemium) on the 27th July 2009 just after GLG won a premium in this tourney..

GLG got his Premium...Premium+Freemium Classic Doubles - 25th July 2009

and from now on they only ever play doubles games together till bearcat leaves the site again after few months just to pop up a year later and enter GLG's first tourney..Gen.LeeGettinhed -- with BOOM BOOM; 16 1v1 Peloponnesian and play a couple more Doubles games with GLG...Game 10106320....Game 10156546...around the time GLG was pushing for the Number 1 spot...

ALL THIS SHOWS THAT THERE IS SOMETHING FISHY GOING ON WITH THESE TWO ACCOUNTS...EITHER THEY STARTED TO SHARE THE ONE ACCOUNT OR BEARCAT TOOK OVER THE GLG ACCOUNT

now finally the proof that GLG's accounts are two different people...

here is just a few of many examples of GLG talking about his kids or wife...there is many more..

would say GLG is not a father with kids and more a late 20's early 30's guy and when asked repeatedly about this in live chat he claims not to be old enough to have kids or any knowledge of bearcat...

first I want to say a big thank you to eddie2 for helping to gather this info and the all important screenshots of his chats with Gen.LeeGettinhed..........

So what is going on here like I mentioned at the start of this report one of two things is happening...

1)they are sharing the same account which is against the rules..

So could the real GLG please stand up...............

would like to hear from the CC community about which one of these GLG's you know or please share anymore info/evidence you might have on this case...

one thing i just realised.

Gen.LeeGettin.....score on the 20th Feb 2009 = 2463
Bearcat.........score on the 20th Feb 2009 = 1436

this was a 1030 point difference in score at the time off the account swap (if it was that. and it does look like that) this would put him in 9th place on the scoreboard. not no 1.

unless i see a specific rule, i don't care about what he is doing. regardless of breaking the first rule of the site, i don't see anything wrong with this users actions (attempting to avoid a ban for speaking out against the current conqueror, which seems to be the Mod Squad/Jr. Mint Mod Squad's Standard Operating Procedure as of late). i applaud this conqueror for skirting the rules and making CC and it's admin/mods look like buffoons unable to discern what is and what isn't against the rules...-el Jesus negro

Wow, very thorough report. You know..now that you mention it....for the longest time he had a picture of Steve Carell as his avatar. It's like he was flaunting that his name was actually steve and not david. lol

Irish Ace, you just did a whole lot of work in this report, and I commend you for it. But I fear it is all in vain. More than likely the best thing to come out of ths would be a warning, but more than likely it will be swept under the rug yet again but the mods.

GLG is apparently untouchable and like owen said above he's "making CC and it's admin/mods look like buffoons unable to discern what is and what isn't against the rules".

Players are allowed to account-sit for others as long as they are not opponents within the game. When sitting for a player, you need to post who you are and how long you will be sitting for the player so that other players in the game are aware of who they are actually playing.
Being on another player's account for ANY reasons other than taking turns when they are in danger of missing a turn, or posting to necessary Tournament or Clan related public forum topics, is not allowed. Abuse of this privilege can be considered account sharing and could result in a Bust for both accounts.

so this case is focused on account sharing that has been happening for several years and is still happening.....

or

that the 2 accounts are multis....

a while back my kid wanted to start playing my wife had a account that she used i think once i asked admin if my kid could just use that account and was told nooo as it would be classed as account sharing and result in that account being banned.

Nobody's untouchable. GLG is simply a Master Rules Lawyer, who has been an expert at finding ways to subvert the intent of the rules without actually contravening the letter of them. This is a good report, though. If it can be verified there is hope that he will finally be brought to justice.

A) They never ever ever bothered checking him for multi.
B) He is and they are protecting him.
C) It is a house account.
D) He isn't a multi.

You may have stumbled upon some more sketchy games - possible S/D - probable favoritism and maybe a few game account share.

I choose... hmmm.... D as the obvious answer here. Why wont people just give up? The man doesnt break any rules (worth punishment, as he is quite the joker in Live Chat ) but people can't help but try to find obscure ways to bust him for stuff he doesnt do!My advice to you sir, give er a rest.. please.. dont waste your time on BS threads like this one. Why not a combination of A and C? If they were told it was a house account and two people play from one IP then both accounts would be allowed and the multi check would be invalidated.

However, if the OP is true (and I dont see any reason to doubt it since the quotes are directly from GLG) then the account changed hands at some point and is clearly in violation.

Im not really sure what will be gained through this. If he did change accounts then he is a multi. He pays Lack another $25 bucks and it is all forgotten.

Just let it go already.

Considering this is a gaming site, I've never seen so many quitters.

yep he pays 25 dollers on his primary account which is bearcat. glg account becomes a invalid account if by any chance glg comes back and claims it he will have to have a point reset back to when he last actually played for himself which by my reckoning will be the last couple of years.


but then again you would possibly have to take into account that bearcat has had glg's user name changed so it could be classed as hijacking of account... meaning no buy back... there are several outcomes that can come from this.

Look, there's been numerous times that cases have been brought against GLG.... And they've all been cleared or noted. While he's using the rule loopholes, he's still under the rules. I'd like to see him brought to justice, but I think he has already. Good report, sorry it'll all be in vain.

Probably the most thorough accumulation of evidence I've ever seen for a C&A thread. Pretty damning in almost every aspect- it should be expected that the mods will take a bit of time to look over this though. That's a hell of a lot of evidence to look through. While it should be true that all complaints be treated equally, this is high profile stuff and I can understand that they would want to get this right.
