At least ask him to finish it!!

i hate to say it but you need to ask him... the map in question is a beta map loads of players on beta like to try things out on the maps once they know they have won it.

I would agree.

Regardless of trying it out, this is really inexcusable. He took multiple neutrals, surrounding Generals' single province. He will be Warned for Hostage holding.

I was simply pointing out that you can ask someone to end it in the game chat, as I normally do when its dragging on. If you havent even asked someone to end it, they might think your still playing. Surely to be a hostage you need to try and leave and be prevented. I was only making note of the lack of game chat.

Some problems can be solved by communication, instead of just filing complaints. Reporting someone for cheating and abuse should be a last resort to a problem, not the first. In my opinion.

But, when he's got 30 troops due and you only 3, it's over. no two ways about it.

ok then lets see what happens when the general starts up. the map has a objective he could be going for that. until you ask you don't know there is no proof.

ask him and if he says he is there you go guilty.
