The accused are suspected of: Abusive Gaming

Other: One player is a colonel, the other two are brigadiers. One player reserved the spots for the other two. They are playing against a Sargent, a Sargent First Class, and a Cadet

Game number(s): Game 10531352 [Primary]
10509280
10495402
10474987
10329990

Comments: We are playing a Triples match which means teaming and being with your friends is legit, but they chose a game where they grossly over experience their opponents, then time it so they start the game on there terms and get the first moves (freestyle game, which is actually not a bad strategy). In their opening attack, they all target one player (the highest ranked one at that). These things aren't necessarily illegal, just unfair. The point is, they chose a game in which they know they will crush their opponents. I'll be surprised if this game goes 5 rounds. They, thus far, have shown excellent coordination that cannot possibly hope to be matched by a thrown together ragtag group. It seems like at least two out of the three are always in the same games as each other (granted team games). And I will admit that overall, they do play opponents with equal or high caliber more than they play lower caliber players (the games listed being the exception) but the Primary game was a blatant act of setting up weaker opponents for slaughter. It's not like they set up the game and a couple of weaklings unknowing joined them. I started the game, my teammates joined on my side, and then one of them joined and reserved the spots for the other two. What's the fun in playing if you don't even have a chance from that start and get annihilated by some dream team? If this isn't against the rules, I apologize but would like to make a note that it really should be.

You just got farmed.

There is no rule violation unless they are account sharing... (One of them playing more than 1 account).

LOL.

First: illegal is really a term used in real life (e.g. it is illegal to rob a bank).

Second: Life isn't fair. Suck it up cupcake! :D

But seriously. If you start a public game you have to expect that anyone can join.

Its only 1 game, if they joined all your games it might be considered differently. If your going to play that map and settings again you could either ask them not to join or make a private game and put a call out for a team of similar experience by clicking and posting here. Then give the password to the team you want to play. I would not foe them as you may want to play them later in your career, save foeing for the real idiots who you will bump into as you go along

No, it wouldn't have. (That wouldn't make sense and besides, there's a foe option available.)

Links added, but pretty much what everyone else said- doesn't really look like cheating or abuse. Just good teamwork.

I like how half the people who commented are higher ranks who would most likely be guilty of doing similar stuff. That being said, I don't think your opinion should count (as far as I'm concerned). You guys may think its funny to join games and just completely annihilate weak opponents but we don't. If we wanted to get pawned, we'd join games with high caliber opponents. The reason we join public games is because we actually do things outside of CC. We don't know very many (if anyone else) people on the site and therefore can't get private games going. Personally, I find it funny that (apparently) so many of you are that lacking in self-esteem that the only way to stroke your egos is to play completely lopsided games. Be proud, be very proud. =D>

Dude it sucks, but look at it like this, freestyle is part of a waiting game strategy in itself. Second go back to the game log look over what they did, learn from that and put it in your own strat in the future. Keep playing your game everyone loses sometimes, Develop your team, how you lay out the playing order etc. And in a freestyle game who is going to go last and make your primary strategy strike. Other option make private games and look thru teams that are in your rank scale and invite them in, But something you need to know about that Rank can be deceptive. GL keep trying you will get there.

I ment morally and ethically, not within the eyes of the rules. I was trying to be constructive with my comments to help a newer player.

Comments:

1. "We are playing a Triples match which means teaming and being with your friends is legit, but they chose a game where they grossly over experience their opponents, then time it so they start the game on there terms and get the first moves (freestyle game, which is actually not a bad strategy)." You admit the strategy they used works. Freestyle means you can start all at the same time.

2. "In their opening attack, they all target one player (the highest ranked one at that). These things aren't necessarily illegal, just unfair. The point is, they chose a game in which they know they will crush their opponents." That's the point of any team game, that's the point of any player who wants to win. Crush you enemies, and the humiliation of the women~Conan the Barbarian

3."I'll be surprised if this game goes 5 rounds. They, thus far, have shown excellent coordination that cannot possibly hope to be matched by a thrown together ragtag group. It seems like at least two out of the three are always in the same games as each other (granted team games)." You admit they hold excellent coordination. Good teammates will continue to play with each other on this site. Would you rather they let you win for no other reason than you consider yourselves a ragtag group of players?

4. "And I will admit that overall, they do play opponents with equal or high caliber more than they play lower caliber players (the games listed being the exception) but the Primary game was a blatant act of setting up weaker opponents for slaughter." Your rank is of little consequence to most players. If we like a map and the settings you play, then we are free to join, as long as we're not foed. And if you don't know what you're doing, you will get slaughtered. However, these games are a learning curve in the beginning and team games require much more strategy than single player games. But you can't hold it against another player if you get killed.

5. "It's not like they set up the game and a couple of weaklings unknowing joined them. I started the game, my teammates joined on my side, and then one of them joined and reserved the spots for the other two. What's the fun in playing if you don't even have a chance from that start and get annihilated by some dream team? If this isn't against the rules, I apologize but would like to make a note that it really should be." It's not against the rules. It looks and sounds like sour grapes.

Joke well if they lose it's a lot of points have lost to plenty of hats 50 points a game that it what you all should be talking about. People lose ranks just to beat bigger players do play the game if you can't get in a fight rank does not mean a whole lot here. There is a bright individual under every dice roll..

It is like everyone here is telling you. They did not violate any rules. You have several options available to you. FAMO or use it as a learning experience and come back and kick their butts. This is CLOSED.

I am what I would call a mid ranked player, but my advice is don't play freestyle teams. I've lost most of my points playing freestyle, or assassin games. I've had some success playing sequential team games.

While sequential team games do require excellent coordination and timing of attacks, they do not require coordination of turn taking. Its one less variable to factor in and Freestyle requires much more observation.
