Accused:
answaThe accused are suspected of:
Conducting Secret Diplomacy
Game number(s):
Game 10456872[game]xxxxxxx[/game]
[game]xxxxxxx[/game]
[game]xxxxxxx[/game]
Comments: During this game Answa tried recruiting me into an alliance on my wall. Before I could take a screen shot, he deleted it because in the game chat I told him I was going to report him. However, I did send him a pm and low and behold, he admitted to it.

I apologize on my behalf for being a bm in the chat - things went crazy after red's silly game-play and after he accused me for being a cheater ... what i said in the chat doesn't make sense and plz don't take it seriously
PS : I'm not worry about his accusation. CC community will explain it to oleg.

You will need to report the pm via the upside down triangle with exclamation point inside it.

I really hate to see C&A reports like this. The guy posted on your wall. Post on his wall, explain that this could be considered Secret Diplomacy, and that he should remove the comment from your wall, and post in-game, to keep things above board.
If he removes it, and posts in game chat, it should be over, no need for a report. What's the point of telling on someone for something so simple?

Really serbia? You supporting attempted cheating? Really?
answa has 2900+ completed games. He has been on site for 2 1/2 years. It is a very safe bet that he has used diplomacy on walls in the past. If it was the guys 10th game and on site for 2 weeks thats one thing. This is another...
Thanks for report Oleg.. Plz click that report icon on the pm.

No jef, that's not what I said, now is it? I'm saying that if it's ONE instance, and the player in the wrong removes the comment, and comes clean in game chat about it, that I'm not going to run and whine about it. A form of self-moderation.
A "very safe bet" is not proof of wrong-doing. Only evidence is proof of wrong-doing. Had the OP given a detailed list of many examples of this behavior by this player, then obviously you have abuse. One case, where the comment was redacted, is, in my opinion, not worth the complaint.
I think the REAL question here is, how does Oleg allow his inbox to fill to the point where he has 53 unread pm's???

First, so, based on your brilliant logic, first time instances should not be reported? Then please explain how in the world there would a be "second" offense if the first one isn't recorded???? That makes no sense. Rules are rules and this rule was broken.
Second, I'm sure everyone here fails to see how my inbox has nothing to do with this or you??? lol
So the REAL question is, why are you even talking?

I think this post resumes your situation,
Calling a moderator "noob" just because he didnt take your side proves that your type of players should be locked in, maybe in a zoo.

I'm sorry but anyone who defends an obvious violation of the rules and then tries to deflect by calling into questions something that not only has nothing to do with the situation but has nothing to do with anyone, moderator or not, should have his motives called into question.
Likewise, trying to use my right to defend myself and answer a response into question as your defense, is lame in itself.

ONE instance attempted SD is all that is required and necessary. Just like ONE instance of racism/bigotry. Just like ONE instance of multiple accounts.
With you being a Tourney Director I do hope you do not require multiple offenses of specific tourney rules before you take proper action in your world...

Let me use your same logic ,
Oleg intentionnaly threw away this game to blue by letting him grow and keep his bonus. Instaid of attacking him, Oleg missed a turn to let blue benefit from his bonus and break my own bonus in scotland. Oleg came back later, cashed and attacked me when i'm down. He kept doing it the entire game until blue won.
This violation of rules comes under "throwing games".

That was meant to be taken as a joke - sorry I mentioned it.

Yep, sure, one instance is all that's needed. I personally don't want to make a stink over something that I see as being minor. I will take the time to go to the person who's made the error, point it out, and see what they do about it first. If they fail to correct it, then yeah, I'd report it. Same goes with specific tourney rules, yes. I'd rather have some dialog first, see if it was a mistake, rather than instantly filing a C&A report on them. Comparing it to racism/bigotry is different, as those are not site-specific rules - that's in poor taste, regardless of situation or circumstance.
And as you pointed out jef, I'm only a Tournament Director. I have no influence here. I am merely stating my personal opinion regarding this case, and as such, I won't be discussing it further in this thread.

I want justice and I WANT IT NOW ...
OLEG violated the rule "throwing games" .
He attacked me when i had no bonus and blue had a bonus and 2X more states. He did it intentionally to let blue win the game, therefore breaking a rule. As jefjef said earlier, all rules are equal and this one is the same as having mutli-accounts.

Then you have to file a report answa. Same as Oleg did.

no, if he joins games just so he can suicide into you, that would be intentional. if you rile him in one game and he tries to make you pay, that is fair and legit.
