Accused: Austin Powell
The accused are suspected of: Not finishing a game

Game number(s): Game 10144839

Comments: I have screenshots if they are needed. This player is just being an ass and won't finish the game. At one point he had 35 troops to deploy to my 3 troops and he still wouldn't finish the game. When I asked him to finish in game chat, he responded by saying, "f*ck yourself; I do what I want when I want; and and guess what CORPORAL.... go f*ck yourself!!!!! LOL HAHAHA."

Now he is dropping 1s on every territory and holding me in a corner of the map surrounded by big stacks of troops...

I suggest you read the rules.

Unwritten Rules wrote:
Obviously any gross abuse of the game is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: throwing games or deliberately benefiting from thrown games, intentional deadbeating, holding players hostage, serial teammate killing, hijacking accounts, systematically "farming" new recruits.

I will finish on next turn, but DO NOT in the future tell players not to attack neutruels. :)

He just took another turn, still doing it... I really have shit to do today. This bastard is putting a serious cramp in my style. Happy Thanksgiving to whomever takes care of this unfortunate situation...

The goal of the game is NOT to conquer ever territory on the map... the goal is to kill the other player...

This.

On another note, he just finished... Finally... Does he still get a warning about this kind of thing?

I find it childish that you want to dictate how your opponent plays. Dont bother joining any of my games in the future.

Austin Powell - accused of hostage holding - this will be noted for future reference should this happen in the future, which I am sure it WON'T.

Unless your opponent has all those territories, it is completely unnecessary to "claim" the entire map, which it looks like what Austin Powell was attempting/successful in doing.

There are also no rules against claiming an intire territory to gain the troop count. Its part of the induviduals stradegy. So I will continue to take out neutrels because it works for me....

But it's considered holding you opponent hostage if you go for the bigger troop count if you DO NOT need the bigger troop count to kill your opponent.

With the way dice rolls are in Conquer club?!?! We are FORCED to gain big power by taking entire territories to insure the win! Ive seen 16 against 3 loose!! Its rediculous. I NEVER intended for the other player to feel "hoataged" until he started bossing me. Right up to that point it was really anyones game! I think this was a case of sore looser ness....maybe taken a little too far on my part. Damn the temper. LOL

You had 100 ish troops to me 7. You also had me trapped in a corner. You weren't at risk to lose the game and you weren't forced to 'gain big power'. Instead, I was forced to sit through your childish temper tantrum.

So... when he asked you to end the game, he had 1 territory, and a deployment of +3. You call that anyone's game? Stop making excuses for yourself, man up to what you did.

And learn to spell :P

I still say General, you are a big baby.... And i invite you to never join my game again. I would have done the same to you or anyone else in real life who thinks they can tell me what to do or how to play.

I'm predicting a short life span on here for Austin. He's going to do this again and get a nice vacation for it. When the mods tell you not to do it, it's best not to do it then. ;)

True, it does sound a tad sore, but he has a point. If your opponent has 3 territories and 5 troops, and you take 4 territories with 12 neutrals on it in the name of "getting a big enough bonus to ensure the kill" it makes no sense. Whatever luck you get you will benefit more from killing your opponents troops. If its taking 3 neutrals instead of attempting 15 enemy troops, there might be a sound strategy behind it, but I think you were killing more neutrals than your opponent had, which invalidates your justifications.
