Accused:

frdaniel
cosme

The accused are suspected of:

Being Multis
Conducting Secret Diplomacy

Game number(s):

Game 9698929

Comments:

Despite being next to each other, almost the whole game, no attacks, and co-ordinated attacks vs other players. Most clear in the last round, where they attacked a set of 4's (mine) as opposed to a set of 3's each other, even though it's clear they are both collecting a bonus, and I'm not. i.e not a rational play.

Seems unlikely they'd be multis, given that one is listed as US, while the other is from Venezuela. The game is foggy, so you might need to post some evidence of secret diplomacy. Otherwise it would be unlikely that anything could be proven.

Thank you jeraado. They are cleared of being multis with one another. As for a possible SD case, Game 9698929 is a fog of war type of game and we are unsure as to how they view the map at this time or if they are even checking the game log on who is getting the most troops per turn. There are still 6 players in the game and it's just round 12. This is cleared for now.

I'm clear from the lower left corner, so I can't post screen shots, they are both next to each other, lower left, still with singles on a joint border, as I can't see any troop movements to show any different.

Saying that, I can't post screen shots.

Are we saying cheating in a foggy game can't be investigated?

No, what KA is saying is that they can only penalise someone if it is clear that they have broken the rules, and at the moment there isn't anything to suggest that they have. Remember that you can't penalise someone for playing a different strategy, or just playing badly. Even in a sunny game you'd need to show that they were cheating, not just focussing on bonuses, and based on the game logs it just doesn't look like that's happening.

If you believe that you have evidence of cheating you could always take a screenshot and post it after the game finishes. Just bear in mind that it needs to be cheating, not playing oddly

Playing oddly is fine, moving your troops away from a border in sync...is in the least suspicious.

If a foggy game can't be replayed once ended as un-foggy, then it's a paradise for cheaters is it not?

After the game is over the log can be looked at. Keep track of what you think is suspicious so we have something to go on. If you look at your original post you don't even state what round the game is in or what countries the troops are located. Take screen shots and notes so you can forward them to us. Just because you think someone should make a certain attack or fortification doesn't mean that they think the same thing. But it is like jeraado that you can't penalise someone for playing a different strategy, or just playing badly.
