These are suspected Multis
Suspect users: aintnosaint and Styx
Game number:
http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=299950
Comments: looked at their game history(Styx) since joining all had been played with aintnosaint except for one singles game. And during the game there were alot of suspicious moves made by them. That seemed to benefit only one player.

My first encounter with tja6802 and partner acerun3284.
Check their game log as to how many doubles games they have played.
Is there something wrong with playing doubles with someone you know? If so, tja & ace should be busted as well.
I checked with lackattack before signing up my friend and lack said it was OK as long as we didn't collude. Doubles is not HIDDEN collusion, it is a requisite.
Doubles can't be multis

M Bush - this is a quote from you on another thread. I think it relates to tja's complaint against my doubles team.
"See this is the feedback that should be deleted in my mind. People should not be allowed to leave bad feedback on what style of Risk you play."
Funny

I still don't have an answer to my simple question.
Does playing doubles with someone you know constitute cheating?

Playing doubles with someone you know is not cheating. When the person that you know is YOU, that is cheating. Let me guess, all 3 passwords were the same??

Thanks for the answer bjn. I had asked lackattack before my wife and nephew (coworkers all) joined and he also said it was OK.
As for disproving the last part what do I need to do, send a family picture?
Good question blue

That's a good question blue. Although we have 3 separate accounts and are truly 3 different people, we tend to play at the same time from the same computer, watching over each other's shoulders, rooting and back-seat driving. That's actually (to us) the real enjoyment of the board game. But I guess online it's hard to distinguish that from some loner with one hand on the attack button and the other hand on...well nevermind.

Yeah,,but multis usually use the same password. And they can check that. So, the next question is do you guys all have the same password???

Multi hunters probably dont want to reveal their secrets or people will find a way to get around them.

No bjn...3 different people, 3 different players, 3 different passwords.
IP addresses

Hey wisse,
If having the same IP address is the criteria then they should say so. We live in one house with one computer and one OL provider.
I hate to go on about this, but it bothers me to be accused of cheating when we thought we were following the rules, even clearing it beforehand with one of the CC moderators.

I don't think aintnosaint would press this issue if he really was a multi, and all his games are openly doubles. Don't all go hopping on the "multi" bandwagon just because a Multi Hunter declared them busted. They're still human, and make mistakes :/
We are not cheaters

Dear Forum,
I would appreciate having a final ruling as to whether playing doubles with my husband and nephew is against the rules.
Thanks,
Zzonk72

No, not ignored.
Actually I got an e-mail earlier today from the abuse committee that
we have been cleared.
Hopefully they'll get back to this thread pretty soon to provide the final update.
Thanks for your support

Well, I don't know all the details since I wasn't involved in the bust or the clearing of these members. But lackattack did indeed clear the names earlier today, so I will update the thread.
Sometimes mistakes are made- as you said it can be hard to distinguish between players in your situation and a single player with multiple accounts.
