Accused: claase1/FELICE50

The accused are suspected of: Conducting Secret Diplomacy

Game number(s): Game 9118653

Comments:
Please check this game. I am the only one commenting in the game. The two players mentioned above both spent several turns (especially in the second half of the game) attacking primarily or ONLY me, even though they share borders with blue (Sgt. Lanzerot) who was the clear leader. Lanzerot is suspicious to me too, as such a clear beneficiary of this behavior, but in looking at his game history I don't see any pattern which makes me think he has some regular scam this way, and he doesn't not appear often or at all with the two Belgian players. But the Belgians are highly suspicious (too bad, too: I like Belgians!), in their clear coordinated attack on me, and their complete ignoring of the clear leader. Look at the game log and tell me the last time either of them attacked him! I am the only one chatting in the entire game, the rest is silence. I note too on claase1 and FELICE's walls, someone has accused them of cheating in the past.

The whole thing is really fishy, there is possibly even more than Secret Diplomacy going on here, but I certainly didn't feel there was enough clear evidence to show more than that. Unquestionably though they are coordinating an attack on me and ignoring the leader of the game; I pointed this out in game comments and was ignored.

Love to know what you guys think. thanks for your time.

Bill

read your post/looked at the game beginning to current /likes like normal gameplay they are at points in the game attacking each other as well/what i saw was at about round 31 each of them had hit you for a few territories and it cost you troops on your turn so you attacked back and so on and so forth/ i have never played any of you/so this is my opinion and i am sure you are not going to like it/but objectively go back and look at the entire game log/when a player is weak all will go after him in any game to get his cards/and unfortunantley in most games if someone gets strong most players will not attack them for fear of retailiation /it looks like normal game play to me and i could be wrong/but the mods will tell you if they secretly targeted you/you may be dissappointed on this one/if so just foe them and presto you dont have to worry about them ever again/you have played enough games to recognize that also under rank players will go after higher just to get them out of the game because you are an automatic threat

Yeah, it's okay, I'm just looking for opinions here. It felt strange to me, but I don't need vengeance or anything on them, I'm not on a crusade, just wondering if it is weird.

I'm less worried that they both attacked me so much, though, it's that they are at the same time completely ignoring blue, who is really strong. And they seem to be working in tandem. They both started doing it at the same time. I've played a lot of games before and never had an instinct that there was something fishy before now. So I wanted to follow it.

Maybe not enough evidence to know. And it could be that they are ignoring blue just because they are not good players and didn't realize how strong he was. Curious what others think though. I still think these two Belgians are likely communicating outside the log.

they may well be/but as i said i have played alot of games where weaker players would not attack the strongest player because they didnt want to draw attention to themselves and become a potential target/ergo the strongest player wins by letting everyone else get weak then taking them out/seen it over and over again/makes me mad as/and you wont convince them its their best option to slow him down/they seem to have this belief that second place is good or that they will by some miracle win/my best tactic in those games is when it is flat rate i get a turn in and just build up on one defendable area and let everyone else fight it out /and slow advance with numbers no one wants to hit/gl dude

I'm still in that game, and the leader, blue, is attacking those two players each turn, and they completely refuse to attack him. Seriously, I hear what you're saying, but this is so out of whack. They can't be worried about drawing attention to themselves and becoming a potential target, because they're already being targeted. Blue has 75 regions to their 13 or 14, and blue is already attacking them. So why don't they attack back?

And my only accusation was secret diplomacy. You really don't believe they are working in coordination? They both are operating in exactly the same way as each other. It's too crazy to be a coincidence.

Your strategy is the right one; that's basically what I tried in this game, built up in one corner and then tried just to get a spoil each turn.

After looking at the (entire) game log of this game, I don't see enough evidence that proves they are having an SD.

I think jgordon1111's vision about this case is a good one.
