the name calling does not bother me just saying that a newbie starting of his CC career that way just needs putting on the right path. just trying to spread the love

Did this one word really warrant it's own C&A thread? This is a perfect example of foe and move on.

after looking at his games, I would lean more towards a shared account.. probably 75 % his completed games he is friendly and does not say anything.. the other 25 % plain and simple just an ass for the get go

it is just a word that does not appear to be directed at anyone so nothing to report

For severe abuse their needs to be more then just a few instances of a player making the site dis-pleasurable for others, & would need more severity then this.

Harassing

• Banter and some trash talking IS allowed in the Game Chats, provided it doesn't cross some specific lines.
• While you might find some game chat disagreeable, uncouth, and boorish, cursing and using foul language may not be a breach of our Guidelines. Try kindly asking them to stop or ignoring them using your Foes List.
• That said, what is not allowed is any form of bigotry, cyber-bullying/harassment or those extremes outlined in the Forum Guidelines. Please report any such comments that you find offensive.

Above all, Conquer Club is a casual gaming site for world domination. Use the game chat to strategically annihilate your opponents or to enjoy a casual conversation over a virtual cup of coffee (or tea).

Just because nobody took offense to the particular word in that instance doesnt make the word alright to use. I would think you would know the severity a word can carry to different people with your past cases in here. While I also think this may be a FAMO situation, the examples given prove he shows no signs of stopping said behavior and it will only continue, and most likely will end up here in another complaint down the road. May be one of the occaisions where an "unofficial" warning may come in handy.

CC has previously determined "CUNT" to not be offensive and ok to use as far as game chat is concerned.

And an AOD mod investigating a complaint filed by an AOD member may not be the best plan. Not that I believe King Sam would allow that to influence his decision but we all know how somethings can be twisted and appear to be something it isn't...

Tis why I usually pass cases on for the perception of favortism thing, but bottom line is this case is just sitting in here and it doesnt take a rocket scientist to look at it and determine the level of modding that needs to go on. But I will defer it if you wish. However any of the other C&A mods or hunters will tell you the same thing. This guy is annoying, and has a potty mouth. His rating of 3.2 should warn you of this, plus he was just Busted in the open forum as a multi not even 2 weeks ago.

He hasnt quite reached the status that we normally would say warrants an infraction on him for severe abuse. Their is an escalation threshold which hasnt been meet, I think we can all think back on a few members who did meet that threshold and were punished for it. No need dropping their names now, as hopefully they moved on to greener pastures. However to inform the guy what he is headed for I have sent him a PM explaining CC policy, Actions that can be taken against vioaltions, and advice that he might want to tone it down or in the future if this behavior continues over a larger scale and course of time this could be something that could cost him playing time and experience on CC. This is Noted.

if someone feels I have made this judement with a skewed point of view because the author is in my clan, feel free to say something and another mod can re-look at it and provide their intrepretation.
