It's not considered a secret alliance unless you agree and do not announce it in chat. At this time, alliance do not have to be formed in game chat, just announced, although it is common courtesy to form them in game chat as well. Feel free to leave negative feedback about this behavior.

thanks for posting it though...if he just asked if you wanted a temporary alliance to be posted...thats fine...but this really is a little dirty

yea, i have to put this wanker on my ignore list. i was approached by PM also, but the guy stipulated that it would go in the chat, and when i declined the alliance, he made known his offer in the chat.
