TX AG 90 and thejensenator[CLEARED]ES

Postby General Quigley on Tue Mar 01, 2011 11:11 pm

Accused:
TX AG 90
thejensenator

The accused are suspected of:
Conducting Secret Diplomacy

Game number(s):
Game 8428693

Comments: The messages in the game itself make it clear from context that there were communications between these two high-rated players taking place (in secret) outside of the game. As far as I am concerned, I can and have taken measures myself by simply "foeing" these two members thereby ensuring they can never again join one of my games. However, as a public service for other Conquer Club members I thought I would point out their behavior for admins to take whatever action they deem necessary. I was excited at first to be able to play two highly rated opponents, but see now that their ratings are high more because they do not play honorably on a level field. Sad.

They agreed to a truce 12 rounds ago in the game chat

2011-02-24 13:29:29 - thejensenator: We may need to work together here green. Can we truce a few turns at T/H?
2011-02-24 14:49:26 - TalynStarburst: this game is moving fast suddenly
2011-02-24 14:52:57 - TX AG 90: sure thing orange
2011-02-24 14:53:28 - TX AG 90: Same thing on the other border?
2011-02-24 14:57:19 - thejensenator: Sure.
2011-02-24 15:05:53 - thejensenator: # of rounds or 2 turn warning?
2011-02-24 16:31:40 - TX AG 90: 2 turn warning sounds good

If you foed them you won't be able to see it

Oh. Right you are. Okay, then, perhaps the diplomacy was not so secret. Can anyone check to see if they sent direct messages to one another in addition to or preceding the public diplomacy?

Anyway, it's not that big a deal personally to me. I have permanently foed both - I don't like playing against players who make deals with the strongest player in order to ensure themselves second place. To my way of thinking, second place is still losing. I won't be encountering them again. I am grateful CC has this foe feature.

Thanks for looking into this.
Best wishes, GQ.

The truce was posted in game chat. Orange looks like he just deployed and ended turn most of the time, not that it did him any good and it left green to only worry about you. This is CLEARED.
