Comments: We a difference of opinion in game chat. I admit my shortsightedness but he still calls me a "dumb asshole" . I pm that I did not deserve that and he now looks like the asshole.

He posts on my wall this: "kiss my ass you dumb american red neck idiot "

I said many times that I just want to have fun in the game, the chat was just trying to get under their skin. Nothing bad and he does not like it when I hit him when he is the top player on the board at the time. It cost me, but no action sucks. Play and have fun.

This is more of a case of Foe and move on. If you foe him, he can no longer post on your wall, or join games with you.

You have the ability to block his chat and wall post by foeing him. You will run in to worse talk than this. FAMO I am marking this CLEARED.

I can handle the name calling. I get it. We all get frustrated. What I cannot handle is the bigotry. In your own guidelines you define specific items that will not be tolerated. For example: Bigotry: Not tolerated at all; no forms of bigotry allowed in live chat or the forums. Now this guys calls me "dumb american" and also "red neck idiot " which both are remarks of bigotry as defined: A bigot is a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices, especially one exhibiting intolerance, and animosity toward those of differing beliefs. The predominant usage in modern English refers to persons hostile to those of differing race, ethnicity, nationality, inter-regional prejudice, gender and sexual orientation, homelessness, various medical disorders particularly behavioral disorders and addictive disorders, religion or spirituality and reality creation beliefs.

Although this is a clear violation of your stated guidelines, you determine that the best result is to block him?

I disagree with your determination and maybe I am at fault here as well. Maybe I did not state my feelings clearly. I am offended by being referred to a "red neck" and "dumb American". I feel harassed and you want to do nothing.

Just look at his ratings. At least 18 times he was called "rude" by other players with many other bad comments as well. This was the main reason I pushed this issue. He has a track record. One time is just a fluke, many times is a pattern.

With that being said, I feel you are duty bound to act or you are no better than the repeat offender in this case.

You asked the mod to look into PM abuse. They did and cleared the person. If you wanted them to look into bigotry you should've posted that.

My advice would be if you genuinely want the bigotry looked into, post a complaint about bigotry. Don't clutter it with other claims (like that the person has a history of being rude), unless it is directly relevant to the complaint. My understanding is that now that the complaint has been closed, your subsequent complaint will not be looked at, and you would need to open an e-ticket if you wanted to appeal the decision.

You can post your complaint, but be clear about what exactly you are complaining about and make sure that it focussed on a specific breach of the rules or community guidelines

I am surprised that the moderator did not notice immediately that this was bigotry abuse and direct me to do what you just said. I have no problem following your guidelines. I was unsure what to put, i.e. what kind of abuse. So that is one me. I will put in a ticket.

Because I don't see it as bigotry. I really think that the comment to be considered bigotry would really be stretching it. Obviously you don't agree with the decision so I suggest you open an e-ticket which can be found under the help tab.
