I have a very specific pet peeve about players who abuse the rating system. It is an extremely rare case that someone plays a game deserving of an all 0's rating so it is pretty obvious that these are false ratings. Incidentally it is pretty easy to discount these ratings by viewing game logs. Whether these illegitimately rating players have personal problems or are just plain sore losers I feel that there should be a place where they are called out on their abuse and shamed accordingly. I welcome anyone to look up the games in question to decide for yourself if an all 0's rating is appropriate. I also encourage others to post these types of offenses so that the community knows just who is doing this sort of thing. While ratings are only a small part of the game and arguably "don't matter", it would be nice if everyone knew who the "poor sports" were.

I sympathise with anyone who gets unfair ratings, but for it to be considered abuse, the C&A mods have set a pretty clear precedent that there needs to be multiple (at least 5) instances. If you want to pursue this I'd suggest doing a bit of legwork by providing some more examples for each player.

Wow! I just looked up GeneralAnestetics last page of ratings and I loled. His last 8 games or so were rated all 0's and most of his last most recent page of ratings is all 0's. Hmmm, think that there is something wrong with everyone else he plays or could it be him? It is really worth a look to anyone who wants to see a good example of abuse of the rating system.

I tried to find which games he left the all 0's ratings against other players but he played them multiple times so how do I tell which game it was that he made the rating on? Most I have looked up though it seems that his attitude is at least as bad or if not worse than the other players (he uses lots of profanity). Can someone tell me how to tell which specific game the rating was given on if he played this person multiple times? If I knew that I could make a better case.

You do realize that a rating of 0 does not affect your rating, right? It's the same as a non-vote. Or do you mean he's rating people with 1's?

oh yea thanks for pointing that out to me Its 1's not 0's I have been saying it incorrectly.

This link should show generalanestectic's ratings left, mainly 1's for the last so many games so this is abuse of the system. parra has only left 1's once although he doesnt often rate so I would say he has nothing to answer

I think you actually deserve the low rating from parra. You saw a thread in C&A about him and took a shot at teaming up against him and the person he was supposedly "trucing" with. If someone did that to me, I would probably give you the exact same rating.

Agreed. In fact, I find myself sorely tempted to use the foe button.

One thing to remember is that once you have achieved your ratings medal most people only give a rating to those who distinguish themselves as either exceptionally good or bad. Or just act like complete idiots thus as human nature dictates you typically only rate those who really piss you off. So a long list of negative ratings doesn't necessarily indicate abuse. I just had two noobs give me ones accross the board in the same game because I lost my network connection and deadbeated. Idiotic for sure but not abuse. I will Foe them and life goes on.....

Well Ive. Played Mr Gen A 5 times. All games located in Bedrock usual Bedrock rules (open to all who care to play ). I won 3 of those games Mr Gen A unfortunately got his ass kicked in all 5 .He rated me recently all 1s . I looked he does seem to like to whack all the games he doenst exactly excel in . But hey I m all for The Rat 's philosphy .....foe and more on ..

barneyrubble is full of crap. he played awfully in an escalator game by suiciding into me out of spite for breaking his bonus then foed me. long before i left my ratings based on those actions.

So Im to blame for all these other complaints ...hahahahhha
