Accused: Leapfrog and abel

The accused are suspected of:

Conducting Secret Diplomacy

Game number(s): 7926531

Game 7926531

Comments: These guys were already joined up to the game before I signed on. Their rep numbers seemed OK so I thought I was in for an interesting game. It soon became clear that the accused players were working as a team. Right down to Leapfrog suiciding on me to give abel the game. The game log will show that every move they made was about ensuring at least one of them won the game. Apart from one single word post from abel, neither posted anything in the game chat. History shows they have played the same map as a doubles team.

It seems to me that leapfrog accidentally made the game standard instead of a doubles game. I made this same mistake before.

It really bothers me when two people I know get accused of cheating, so I will do my best to defend them. Also, for the record I do not know Narrabri or erv nor do I have any hard feelings toward them except for the frivolous accusation.
I believe leapfrogs only mistake was making the game standard instead of doubles.

1. abel attacked leapfrog many time throughout the game.
2. leapfrog was the first player eliminated.
3. There is no rule against playing a standard game with people you know which is no secret because they are in the same clan.
4. leapfrog never intended the game to be standard, it should have been a doubles, so fault him for not making the proper game.

Here is some game chat that I think helps prove my point.

erv: if you two nemesis players think i will touch blue you have another thing coming. you deal with him since you are so eager to tag team me

Narrabri: ooooh look Red your faithful Green ally has turned on you - hahahah

Narrabri: Check this out - they cant win when the opposition knows they are playing together from the outset: Game 7927203

leapfrog: and I made a mistake not having it as doubles. This was my first time playing together.

leapfrog: If this map would have had been doubles I would have worked with Abel, but game was started before I noticed is was singles game.

leapfrog: So there was no time to drop this one, then I made another one which we lost because this map hates me.

leapfrog: and again double would be fine and I dont care who is on what team

leapfrog: This game was a mistake so I just put no effort into it.

leapfrog: Sorry to all 3 of you guys for this one.

Yeah, it was an honest mistake. Give them a break.

It only became a "mistake" when they got called out repeatedly. Convenient excuse. I'll use it myself some time and reference your posts if somebody complains.

If you notice i commented on it within 24 hours of the game starting. If they were so honest as some of you are trying to make them be, why not just say so? No that's too much work. Come clean and we will work on it. DO NOT FUCKING PRETEND LIKE NOTHING IS GOING ON AND ENSURE YOUR BUDDY WINS.

Out of close to 800 (if not that many, i have to check) i've had 3-4 incl this one that were smelling of fixed but nothing as blatant as this crap here.

Very convenient of you to leave off the date and time tags
leapfrogs explanation and apology only came after the conclusion of the game was beyond doubt and he had been eliminated by his secret ally abel
I'm not bitchin cos I lost - I lose my share - and with good grace - what I'm miffed about is that no explanation was forthcoming when the fact that they were in alliance was beyond question and the game was spoiled for erv and me as a result.

I understand your desire to flame me in defence of your mates, I hope you take into consideration that if it was a genuine mistake then it should have been declared up front so that erv and I knew it would be two on two, a completely different style of game play when its 1v1v1v1

Ok after looking at the game I dont see anything clear cut. Yes it does at times look one sided but thats not enough for me to go on at this time. So for the time being this will be noted.
