You need only glance at this player's ratings to see that he is consistently rude and abusive. His unabashed cruelty and low-brow insults destroy what is for me, a paying customer, an activity that I enjoy during leisure time. As you can see in the transcript below his comments were not constructive criticisms or gentle jibes, they were viscous, childish, and attempts at cruelty. As far as abuses go I would say that the conversation shows strong examples of, Trolling, Flaming, and Flame Baiting. I trust that this player is the type of player that this forum exists for, and I hope that this matter can be resolved.

The accused is one of the more vile people on site.
Glad he foed me for beating him so I never had to play that piece of work again. Irony does some good work though. ~Foed because I was lower ranked than his, after 7000 games, oh so impressive SFC. Looks like some things change, where as others remain painfully stagnant...

I have done some research on some of this player's past games and have a disturbing run of outrageous nastiness. One need only check every game they have lost to see that they consistently blame their defeat on the computer and belittle other players. There is also a long background of dead-beating, a very long background. Also, ratings are consistently used as a threat to other players in a large number of games. These are not the most obnoxious offences however. Consistent degrading language, a seeming obsession with accusations of homosexuality, and a compulsion to attack and disrespect other players plague their history. After finding out all of this I am confident that actions will most definitely be taken to remove a canker from what has thus far to my eye been a fine community of players.

You have the ability to rate him. You also have the ability to FOE and never play with or see what he says.

Sorry but I don't see a punishable rules violation in all of this game chat.

Also, his consistent, non-repentant dead-beating certainly has to be an issue.

It may not be PM abuse but it is definately abuse and un-called for, I have played this guy and he is vile and unprovoked in his berating. He blames and abuses when he is losing and even abuses when he wins.. As a paying member of a generally relaxed site we dont expect to receive this abuse; yes we can foe him and never play him again but what about the others who come across this guy.

The initial accusation is correct, ETPsych isnt random in his abuse, it isnt a odd occurance; it is literally every game and should not be tolerated.

I want to be clear. I am really not trying to be shitty. People can be as ruthless and glib as they want to be, this is a war game. As such, I have played with several players who have used foul language and harsh words and have taken the whole game disturbingly seriously but none as ignorant as this one. So rude that he takes the time to trash talk the site. Not the kind of member Conquer Club can be proud of, nor whom with we players can be pleased to play.

All these game chats coming from ETPsych can be seen as common flaming. I can't totally agree that some of them are homophobic or bigoted, although they can be borderline to that sense. He is due for a permanent vacation should he commit his 3rd major infraction. For now, this report is noted and a pm has been sent to make him be more mindful of what he says.

So to be clear, am I to understand that 'common flashing' is not a big deal?
