its something known as luck of the dice. Just because you tend to remember mostly the bad rolls doesnt mean that they're cheating.

These dice are random and they have been proved random

welcome to conquerclub!

... and there is no way to cheat the dice. some rolls are good, some are bad, but they are totally random (look in the dice analyzer thread in general discussion if you dont think they are random)

Too true i always seem to remember the bad luck... only half an hour ago... i played 15 vs 3 and lost all but 2!

But on the next go i rampaged all around North America without losing a single unit!

So take the bad with the good... and put up with it!

Hmmm... maybe it's time to get this of my chest. It has been bothering me for some time since I deeply regret it. Despite popular belief, it is actually possible to bend the dice to your favor. That’s how I made it to general in the first place. I quit doing it after that, and consequently loose more games. Back then, I could walk through an entire game without loosing a single army. What you need to do is to sacrifice goats. A shitload of goats in honor of the dice. The dice are a bunch of mean deities, so spilled blood definitely pleases them. It’s not really cheating (there is only rule 1 and 2), but perhaps a tad bit unethical, so I don’t recommend it. Besides, your apartment floor will be a mess, and your neighbors may start to complain after a while about damp spots in their ceilings and trash bins filled with discarded goats…

So . . . that was my problem! I kept sacrificing hogs. I must have killed a thousand of them. Now I feel kind of bad. Goats and chickens, I'm writing this down.

Sounds like you learned about the defenders dice through personal experience.

I don't know,... there are some games that on the first round people had taken over at least five countries and had fourteen armies on one land... Several games have been like that when I didn't think it was possible. My partner in some games have noticed that, also...

Are we nuts?

Nuts? We must be if we spend time playing a game where dice decide whether men live or die!

It's like playing russian roulette with Stalin...

it just happens that way sometimes...there have been numerous times when i attacked 7 vs. 1, and i ended up losing...

Well, I know that part. I mean, I get screwed all the time on rolls when I clearly should have the advantage. That's not my question.

I mean.. in two separate games, the first round someone took out an entire continent starting with just three armies, and when they ended that round they had fourteen. A gain of armies, without any obvious fortifications.
