Actually, this is much different than Game 7657527 where you eliminated the wrong player. Culs was trapped in this one and just weakened you. Not the same at all. Plus, he warned you. ;)

Seems like a pretty legit tactic to keep yourself from being taken out in Assassin, no?

I do it occasionally. Attacking dice has advantage, after all.

has a suicide case ever been the cause of a ban?

First of all, if you play freestyle assassin you have to live with the inevitable inequities of gameplay. 90% of the game is a social experiment to manipulate your opponents and save your enemy.

A really smart player would not tip his hand so obviously as to who is target was, and at the same time not back his target into a corner. When the choices are:

Lose to the jerk who is goading me
Lose but bring that jerk with me

Can you really expect people not to pick option 2?

You set up the situation Becky, you should deal with the consequences like a man (?) and not turn it into some sort of tit for tat because you got butt hurt for a previous bad decision.

I don't think you can even label this a "suicide" (in the normal meaning of the type of gameplay manoever ) due to the particular circumstances of map setting and situation. This was a particular tactical decision.

The accused was your target. What was he supposed to do let you kill him? Maybe the smart move would have been to give him some room or go for the kill. culs de sac is CLEARED.
