It's simply the nature of 4-6 player standard flat-rate. If you get 2-3 experienced players in the game the chances that one of them will win are overwhelming. I'm too tired to write out a nice explanation, so I'll simply state that I'm 99% sure the two in question are innocent of the charge, and that if I and one of them were to play 50 flat-rate games together in that manner you'd see the same results. One of us would be winning nearly all the time (while playing 100% legitimately).

Anybody who plays 4player flat-rate speed on classic or B.Isles should recognise the name Elegant_Solution. He's ah.. infamous. Hundreds of games on the settings honing his strategy is what gives him 50% win ratio, not Secret diplomacy... He was winning before Welsh arrived on the scene, and he'll continue to win as much in the games he welsh is not in.

Enough said.

A little more detail on the accusation would be nice also. Just listing their games and winning percentage isn't enough. So please point me in the right direction.

ie one of them is winning about 33% of the time each, and we're talking about mostly 4-5player flat-rate.
There is nothing suspicious about this at all, as stated E_S is one of the more experienced on site at these settings, and Welch is obviously skilled at it too.

Evil Semp, There is not a huge group of players that enjoy flat-rate speed, at least not high ranked/ experienced players. For one reason or another most seem to move on to escalating. Elegant, when around, typically sits on line for several hours and plays 5-10 of these games in a row, thus anyone like welsh who enjoys the settings is bound to find themselves in many games with E_S. That one of them typically ends up winning these games is not strange in any way... As with any settings, the people with consistent superior strategy will end up winning a healthy percentage of the time.

After blue was kicked from the game it was a three player game, and it looks like you were the dominate player. Why would they attack each other just so you could win? In round 13 green got a bonus for holding Europe and at that point it looks like you quit. On your next turn the log shows that you deployed and ended turn. {maybe a failed attack} Then you missed your next turn before you were eliminated.

welshbean and Elegant_Solution are CLEARED.
