Subject line: <Unannounced alliance; game 197237>

These are suspected Secret Alliance

Suspect users: <gerry22 & berisaxy>

Comments:

I am hesitant to report this because of the feedbacks of the two players involved, and my past experiences with accusations, but it has become obvious that gerry22 and berisaxy have formed an unannounced alliance. I firmly believe that the evidence found in the game log and chat log is enough to support my claim.

The straw that broke the camel's back came this past turn when gerry22 came after me, leaving his Asian countries that border Europe completely unguarded and then blue did not touch any of them, instead choosing to attack me yet again.

I firmly believe that I am in the right, and while I'm not sure what can be done to rectify this situation, I just wanted to report it and have people be aware.

Thank you for your time.

there's no such alliance. We attack sostlouis because she is the biggest and strongest.

sostlouis wants me to attack the other guy and weaken myself so she can win and she wants the other guy to attack me just the same.

There is no secret alliance. We simply understand that the biggest and strongest must not get bigger and stronger or we both lose.

She doesn't understand the rules.

And another thing, i won't be happy with negative feedback for this.

1. Don't refer to me as "she"

2. Your logic holds no water. I have never been the biggest or strongest player in the game. I do not understand why you keep saying that. At my strongest point, I still had 10-15 fewer armies than you or berisaxy. This has been your sole defense, and it simply doesn't make sense.

3. The facts remain that neither you or berisaxy have made any sort of real attempt to attack each other since the game began, much less since it became a three-way game. Borders have been left unguarded, an inordinate (over 80%) amount of attacks on me have been made, apologies are issued after attacks, etc. The proof is in the pudding. I can only go on what my eyes are telling me because what you and berisaxy are telling me lacks logic and reasoning.

You seem to think holding N.America+S.America is ok!

And i'll say again, i won't be happy with negative feedback with the accusation of cheating. You obviously don't understand how to play.

I held South America for one turn. One. Uno. Un. Ein. ONE.

I think that's the point. We stop you from getting the bonus. Stop crying about it.

Thank you for the suggestion. I did not know that option was available. I will certainly do that after the alliance accomplishes its goal.

Also, you just said, "we stop you...". Your use of the word "we" suggests that you are working together with the other player. That would be an alliance. An alliance that was never announced. Unannounced alliances are against the rules.

Yes We Are Working Together. But There Is No Secret Alliance. Do You Not Understand This?

"we" refers to the two players involved. It can even indicate that they are working together. However it does not indicate that they coordinated the moves through a secret alliance. The fact that two people can share a common thought without discussing the matter is why its so hard to prove that secret alliances are happening. If both players keep attacking you while you feel you aren't the strongest, I would suggest its because you keep grabbing continents and they don't want to let you back in the game to become stronger than them. I personally HATE letting a player hold continents weakly only to become a threat later on, so they probably feel the same way.

As with anything it COULD be a secret alliance, but if you can't look at a pattern of it happening over several games I would tend to think thats not the case. I believe they just have similar thoughts and are playing the game accordingly.

Just so this is clear. b.k. means he has played both of us BeriSaxy and I in different, individual games. Not together. I had to check my game game history to see if i played with BeriSaxy before and No i haven't.
