I was playing a 4 person game, and I owned Europe (classic style game). It was 4 players, and a guy had Australia, and a guy had south America, and the other guy was kind of floating around and mostly dead. So I offered to let him have Africa, and as long as he holds Dakar and Dubai (i think those are the 2) that I would not attack him, and give him protection. I said this in the box in front of all 4 players (which is in accordance with the rules as far as I understand). He accepts, and we have about 2 turns of this. Then next turn he takes out all of south America and cripples blue, and in my opinion became very greedy, especially without talking to me about it. So my next turn, I took 1 country in Africa, and then left, and told him to take it back, and surrender at least 1 country in SA because that was too greedy, and he'd be too powerful. Now I can understand completely why this guy was angry at me, and may want to suicide into, and that fair IMO.

...But Tfisher4, who previously owned SA, and was the beneficiary of me breaking my truce, some reason took offense to my actions and then allied with yellow and blue to suicide into me, and let red (the guy with Aussie) win completely free.

Sure enough, that's what he did. He and yellow suicided completely into me and handed red the game on a Accused:

TFisher4 said in the game game "I don't care about winning, I just wanna kill you". he also said this after suiciding into me to the red player ( the guy who has Aussie, and will ultimately win) "Red take my spoils".

... This to me is completely unacceptable behavior, which completely ruins the game. I am new, and got off to a good start going 4 for 6, and was very enthusiastic towards this game. I checked hourly for new turns. I thought this might become my new "thing" to do on the internet. However, my last few I am certain I have played a couple of "multi accounts" or w/e u call it. The same guy on two of the players. It was really, really, frustrating, but still wasn't enough to make me learn how to use the forum, and how to lodge a complaint. But then this happened, and it was so blatant.

This game is still on, and red should be able to win next turn. I hope these actions are considered inappropriate or else I'll be moving on from this game.

P.s. Just wanted to say that my biggest problem with this is that he put himself in a position he could never win the game.

oops, It appears the yellow guy said that. However it i obvious that this guy suicided into me... How can u say his actions didnt change the result???? He attacked me with every single unit he had, with no attempt to claim a continent or attack red. Plus he tells red to take his spoils...

It looks to me like you broke the terms of your truce, and this can sometimes anger more than just the player you attacked. Some people feel that truce breakers do not deserve to win games and may have acted accordingly.

If I had no chance of winning a game myself, I'd rather swing it in the direction of someone who played honorably than someone who did not.

He put me in the position to break the truce.

And yes, the guy still had a great chance to win.

I am not just pissed because I lost, but that TFisher disregarded the game, and took me out, ruining the game.

That wouldn't happen in real life, a country suiciding there army because someone broke a truce for a questionable reason.

LOL this isn't real life, the person playing is probably a kid not a general This sound like poor play and unless tfisher4 has a history of throwing games just FAMO!! (Foe And Move On)

While it's very annoying to lose in this way, I don't believe the player has abused the rules. Your best bet is to use the Foe tool to ensure you don't have to play with him again. Also use the Ratings tool to let others know what you thought of him.

For what it's worth, I try to stay well clear of truces. I used to play 3-way doubles games quite a bit, where truces are often necessary, spoken or unspoken, and it ALWAYS causes friction between the players who end up on the losing teams!

I don't see any rules broken here. Like everyone is telling you FAMO. Was it bad game play? Was Tfisher4 just tired of you trying to dictate the game? I don't know but we can not tell people who, when or where to attack. We have all made attacks that we shouldn't have.

TFisher4 is CLEARED.
