Accused:

Klobber

The accused are suspected of:

Farming
Other:

Does the following image, which shows that a new recruit has been invited to this game provide some evidence that Klobber is farming?

Game number(s):

Game 7279608

...and 2,105 Foggy Circus Maximus games. Seems like starting most of those games in fog is intended to encourage new recruits.

Comments:
Here is the image:

I mean, who else would have invited Swedish Chef?

Can new recruits be invited to games? Obviously so, perhaps another Queen_Herpes suggestion is going to be prepared to prevent the invitation of new recruits to games until they pass that 5th game marker?

The picture shows that the player was invited. Who invites a premium new recruit?

Whatever it is, and why someone would pay for premium to make one post, I don't care.

The question is about Klobber and...who invited the Swedish Chef to the game? Was Klobber going around the site looking for new recruits to invite and found Swedish Chef?

Seems like farming to me.

Just FYI, inviting one recruit is not farming.

Also, Swedish Chef obviously didn't pay for premium as he is lack…

Ahem, I searched his games, he has 2,105 foggy Circus Maximumus games, most of which he started. (But I put that in the original post.) And this new feature allows us to see who is in the reserved spots. So, someone in the game invited this player. I doubt it was for comic relief as no one else could see this until today. I doubt it was to "hold the spot" as that seems in conflict with the goal of the game.

I think this is one piece of evidence to show that perhaps KLOBBER is farming by inviting new recruits. Perchance?

What if it was Taishon or Zero that invited him and not Klobber?

Klobber has never before invited recruits, which leads me to believe that it wasn't him.

Klobber's very (in-)famous for setting up all those games and foeing any Officer, which lets the games go to the top of the first page, prompting cooks, cadets, and other low ranks to join the games.

Maybe he wanted to be able to check it fast and no admins were online. Also he could have wanted to check for himself what it looked like from both sides of the invite...

Let's put it out there that you are not prohibited to invite new recruits or new players to play your games. It's when you start inviting them almost exclusively, if not targeting them systematically, in plenty of your games that it may become a farming issue.

This new feature would really help us regarding farming cases but let's not get carried away and bring torches to every player out there that we see having a reserved spot for a new recruit. We need to see a pattern, a style, etc., with an above average attendance of new recruits to a lot of games.

If there are no further evidence to support this farming case then let's try to move on.

I meant the admin account, lol, but ya, the both sides thing could explain it I guess

Hello Army of God,
I don't know who invited The Swedish Chef. I figured I would bring it to the attention of the mods. When I did, I noticed that KLOBBER had a number of games on a map that IMO is one used for farming and done so in fog.

Is it possible to search the database for new recruits? I don't know. If it is, perhaps KLOBBER is inviting new recruits to play. I don't know.

Figured I would toss some information out there, just in case someone else hadn't noticed it and just in case it is correct.

Best,

QH

just because someone is invited, doesn't mean that it's done by the person that started the game. for all i know, it could have been one of the other players that did the inviting

exactly...hence the need to observe patterns etc. Cant just go off of evidence of 1 game.
