I remember somebody recently mentioning "witch hunt" when referring to the rash of Multi/secret alliance accusations...PROVE ME WRONG, but from what I can see there are more multis being busted than cleared...So If youv'e got nothing to hide...who cares...THE SYSTEM WORKS...

When people submit cases they feel strongly about, and have clear reasoning on why the people are guilty, it seems like they are often right.

The 'witch hunt' accusations exist though as well- they are often stabs in the dark, and unsubstantiated. It's often easy to recognize in the accusation thread and those cases are usually innocent (ie- a bunch of new recruits joined the huge game in a row )

There are a lot of more ambiguous cases were the person is accused with some evidence and some gut feeling, but lately it does seem like most accusations have been pretty accurate.

I care. Because the innocent should not have to defend themselves because some one is a sore loser, or their names are similar. There are people being accused just because they joined several team games right after each other.

If there is a legitimate reason to accuse some one that is fine, then accuse but at least have some reasonable basis for the accusation.

I agree Evil, You make a good point...but I feel the innocent will be cleared...better to clear an innocent than let a violator go un-challenged...The Innocent don't need to defend themselves if they have nothing to hide...

Although some should be checked out more in depth before reporting...ie.if they only play team games together...Big Deal...

Try reading the forums, members have been assumed guilty because they never responded to the accusations?

Well thats just narrow minded thinking by others...They don't need to respond, you know and I know for the most part the level of evidence is important, I trust your reasoning and ability to evaluate the evidence...And I really feel for the innocent that are accused...but I trust in the system to weed out the actual multis without being offended if I'm accused...

I'm no multi, yes I am, no I'm not, yes I am, "Will you both shut up"...

I think we are finally seeing things the same way. Or maybe we always did but we couldn't expain in clearly to each other.

Yup I get you Evil, you are not wrong in your opinions, and Hell froze over last time I went to Winnipeg, my friggin shoes froze on the tarmac and I did a 10 point face plant that my buddies would give their first born for a picture...But thats another story.....

I beleive if you have played a game with someone and feel they were cheating you should post it. and we should let the mods work it out.
People will be wrongly accused, but they will be cleared.

I do have a bit of a problem with the crap accusations around here sometimes:

"jim 1 and jim2 should be checked because their names sound alike"

"bob and jim joined a game at the same time"

Jim has 1400 points after only 14 games"

If you have played someone and think they cheat that is fine. being bored and searching the scoreboard for things that look wrong can be left to the mod squad.
