Comments:all games with jotheconqueror(speed),played at this time period.
i joined a speed game against joetheconquerer which i then realised he was not online, afterwards i checked who else had joined his games as he had dropped from a major to a seargant, where i saw these 3 players names the whole time, when they knew that he was not playing.

jotheconqueror should be listed in this complaint for Intentional Point Dumping.

He and mod iamkoolerthanu conversed and this is their wall communication.

so why did you do it?

ok, I have no idea what jo was thinking here, nor do I say that he was smart/right in doing this, but I found this and I'd just like to throw it out there:

Game 7096690
2010-06-05 15:44:54 - jotheconqueror: i wanted to lose points
2010-06-05 15:45:23 - jotheconqueror: thats not t illegal

I'm not saying that this should totally clear jo, but maybe not make it a life sentence? While I agree he should know the rules, apparently he didn't, maybe that helps a little? O:)

Not knowing the rules or guidelines is a poor excuse unfortunately.

I know, but also know that jo wouldn't break the rules on purpose. I agree that jo was absolutely in the wrong here, I just don't want to see him permabanned for something that was an honest mistake

he can appeal to have his account re-instated by tickets...which he is aware of...it will be up to admin to make a decision on that

ok lets make a thing of what has been said by mods before.

1)dont quote what a player says because its not always true (made by lv )

2)there was a case like this with jleonan(sorry for spellings) where the players were cleared of gaining points because jle went offline with speed games active(trying to find the case it was a couple of weeks ago.)

3)all players can forget to cancel games when they go off line

4)this is the main one you cannot punish a player for a fault in the system where games stay active for 15 minutes after signing off. it should cancel games straight away.

reason 4 is because i have signed off before for 30 mins and came back to find i was active in a speed game and missed 2 shots.

Im unusure where you are seeing a mis quote
There was no jleonn point dumping case...
It was obvious that jo was dumping points....It has nothing to do with him dropping the game from his waiting list.
The games drop after 15 mins. If you join a speed game you should be willing to play that speed game...if its not in your mind or you are forgetting it then why did you join in the first place. Its not the point anyway. jo was dumping points...his account has been temp banned and he is free to open a ticket to sort it out if he wishes. The players who cashed in on him dumping will be warned or punished depends on their histories.

i did not say he was point dumping

lv you yourself say that you cannot quote a player for what he says as for the thread here it is so without the quote from him you have no case.

this is a quote from lv himself and lv if you want me to link i will

exactly...where is your proof eddie  just because i say something does not make it true...

and please if you can read minds what am i doing tommorow. lol

http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=239&t=117437&p=2602970&hilit=jleonnn#p2602970

this case was in reverse for point dumping but for gaining from someone offline. so whats to say jle was not point dumping as he has said in other threads he is gonna stop playing soon

Why are you even arguing this eddie? As far as that goes why am I displaying your posts. Damned if I know.

He was intentionally dumping points to be a cook. That is a major infraction. It is a good rule.

In a point dumping case what happens is the following:
  • the account point dumping is suspended for the time being until the conclusion of the case can be resolved
  • all evidence is collected and all major offenders are dealt with as per the guidleines to include in some cases a point reset
  • and of course the offender is dealt with as per the guidelines as well

Right now in this thread there is this much listed:
  • its pretty obvious via the wall conversation point dumping was going on so the offenders account was suspended
  • a collection of evidence is taking place as to who all collected in on this and if it was obvious those players joined those games with the knowledge of what was going on
  • all the major offenders being the ones that joined games to collect on points will be punished as per the guidelines

This is stil at the collection phase as I said, please be patient. And keep it on topic.
Eddie it should not be your desire in every thread you are in to push the limits to see if you can get it locked. C&A is a place that is meant for the users to reach out to the volunteers and admin for justice in situations that are unfair and against the rules. You making a mockery of it will only hurt you and the rest of the community in the long run.

king sam it is not my intention to get it locked but please respond to this

1)mods start to take things off topic that they dont agree with so others follow suit and it can be locked

2)like in c and a players will have a general discussion about a case if they think the result was wrong or correct this is the funny part

if the mods were correct and is highlighted it stays open

if somone questions a mod you lock it straight away like little children .

so it is not my responses that are getting it locked it is childish behaviour of mods that cannot admit a mistake every once in a while(i am not saying that the ones i have asked a question about i was correct but we will never know because you locked the threads.

eddie,
first off you dont need to always quote every post above yours, its not necessary.
second its very rare i see 1 of us turn the topic in a completely different direction then what it was going. most of the random parts of conversations posted by us are in response to a query by another user in the thread. its not like we are going on about an irrelevant foe issue.
third, if we made/make a mistake we take ownership of that, your desire to disagree and lack of comprehension doesnt make you wiser, it isnt cute and is not acquiring you fans.
if a topic gets locked then it gets that for a reason, which usually includes total derailment of that topic, flaming or the agression towards it, or continued argument of a case when it has been ruled upon and closed.

if someone wants to protest a decision after its been made then they can do so the proper way, an E- Ticket. after closed there is no reason to keep the thread alive over more then a period of 2 days.

These moderators you are referring to, they have the power to correct, highlight, lock or whatever powers you see out there that they do. That is why they are called moderators. They are not abusing their mod powers. You questioned them and they have already answered you before, again and again. I have seen them explain things to you but it appears you refuse to accept what they say and just argue for the sake of arguing. Let them do their job and you, as a member watch them do it. If you can not do that, simply play your games.

If a mod or admin specifically say you shouldn't be doing something, regardless of if it's specifically spelled out in the rules, or if you think that they are stupid, it still means don't do it. If you don't like the rules here, google.com will help you find somewhere more appropriate. In the same vein, just because you are here, does not mean you MUST be here. This is a business and CC does reserve the right to promote or discourage any kind of behavior it sees fit.
