Accused:
vanilla bearchocolate bearThe accused are suspected of:
Being Multis
Game number(s):
Game 7000780That's just the game I joined and shame on me for joining it, right?
Comments:
With names like vanillabear and chocolate bear AND they joined within seconds of each other...I think it is worth looking into.

interesting how long it takes each of them to take their turns. I don't know much, but this smacks of multi-ism. I just broke through blue (i think it is chocolate bear) and green was sitting on his border with a fat stack facing armies of one for blue.

Ahem, read the game chat...at the very least this is secret diplomacy. But it really smacks of multis, too

add this
Game 6996274 I think this is a large multi. I know everyone is about to say they are just friends. But this friggin stinks to high hell to me of a very smart multi player.
I think this site has about 5-10 very smart multiers that come back in different forms after they are busted. That is the game to these guys, can they get their little room of laptops on different IPs through games cheating. The winning and losing doesnt matter, its the sport of not getting caught.
edit let me explain... I fill like the mods that "dont know what a proxy is" are gonna skip right over this.
These two guys are the same # Hander100 n/a
# Grimshanks n/a
They made their account within a minute of each other. But wooooohhaaaa look at that one is from "Brazil" and one is from "USA" but proxies are impossible on this website right?
no. Now you have to ask yourself... why did that guy make 2 accounts and put them in a game that it looks like they will not play? BEcause there is more than 2 accounts in that game that are part of the same multi! The awesome one is the bear is # Hander100 is Grimshanks n/a .. they are all the same... the bear is the paid account probably the guy that will get this win.
# Hander100 n/a
# Grimshanks n/a -- these guys are in the game and probably wont take a turn.. this makes it easier for a multi to win, because you go in with the pre-knowledge of that all their territorys will be jsut like a neutral 3... also, well you can only change your mac adress and proxy so many times and stay sane.
There are two real people in
Game 6996274 and the lieutenant is not cheating. you guys have one crafty son of a bitch that has a huge multi. I hope you have the tools to stop him.

I agree, AON. There is more to this multi than meets the eye. How will the mods be able to discover them if they are coming in through proxy servers?

Well they are supposedly trying new stuff... They still dont want my help. but at least they are trying new stuff.. an elite proxy is a bitch to catch but there are a few ways. I think they might be able to.. we will see.

Might be worth it to check out player one in my game, then, too. He made an interesting comment in the chat:
2010-05-17 23:43:29 - Queen_Herpes: problem is that this is probably new to them
2010-05-17 23:45:40 - Nathan_Taylor: I don't think they are new
2010-05-17 23:45:47 - Nathan_Taylor: i think they recreate their profiles
2010-05-17 23:45:54 - Nathan_Taylor: if that's possible
Nathan didn't say much, but he came up with a very interesting concept. If hte site is hackable, and its a good hacker, couldn't they get in an mess with the profiles...as described?
And, if this is possible, who else would come up with the way to do it..."He who smelt it, dealt it."

You are right Nathan Taylor could be one of the largest multis in game history
Game 6895345A few other suspicious games... but I honestly unless I looked at the IPs I dont feel comfortable guessing.
Edit, spent the last hour looking at this cat. He is either in on it or seems to play against the occasional double multi... its a mess. Ill post what I know tomorrow.

Its not really hacking... they just change the physical address on their PCs (if they are using jsut one or 2) and then they have different PCs or tabs on same computer running through various proxy servers.
The proxy server basically runs their connection and their IP (basically the address of their server (very basic definition) looks like it is from well anywhere like china.
If someone has a multi on this scale, to keep all of the users on the same IP that they started on and to make sure the makes never popped identical between accounts, would take someone pretty organized.

its actually not that deep aon.
im suprised that you still think we rely entirely on ip address to determine multies...
i almost dont want to bust them simply for the scrubs reference..
still pending though...pretty sure sam was dealing with this

It doesn't happen often, that one person creates 3 premium accounts within 3 days.
I wouldn't be surprised if they were cleared, but they sure are connected to each-other.

aon bro you may think you have a good working knowledge of what we do to detect cheaters but you don't.
We are not going to tell you what all it is we do but thinking its just as simple as looking at IP's or country origins is just plain dumb. If we opened our doors to you and showed you this stuff you would feel just plain silly and never question this process again. But we both know that's not going to happen. Trying to tempt others in your conspiracy theories, threats to make a thread on how to trick the detection process or even creating multiple accounts to see if you can go undetected will only lead to you getting in trouble. You choose what direction you want to go.
Do cheaters sometimes get away? Are they ever revisited if we cant make a Bust at the time of the accusation? Why is it that cheaters sometimes get away? Because if we don't have enough evidence to rightfully say that their could be no other possible explanation then we have to give the benefit of the doubt. Have to. Would do the same for anyone. Now we will keep the evidence compiling and eventually if that user is a wrong doer it will all work out. Some times these "elaborate multis" are nothing more then friends. Not some egg head in a room with 30 computers 20 servers drinking red bull getting his kicks off by making 20 different CC accounts to sky rocket one of his accounts on the scoreboard.
Now in this case after several eyes have researched this at this time we are moving to
Clearing these bears.
Either they are relatives or friends or more time will prove that they are something else. I realize this is not the conclusion you were seeking but given what we see this is the verdict. As always Foe/Rate Accordingly and instead of having a heart attack and ranting and raving about this being the wrong decision open up an E-Ticket, get it reviewed yet again and accept the conclusion.

admittedly, I listed the charge as multi-ism. I see they are cleared of that.
What about their admission of secret diplomacy in the game chat? Or do I need to make a second report?

I cleared and moved the report cause I thought it was just multi accusation, my bad.. I will ask eye since this was his case I will see if he was working on the diplomacy side.. if nothing else I will look into it if he already isnt.
So I know this is in the Closed reports, but I will get back to you on that aspect of it. My bad

Anyways.. there's more then 1 game where I can see Vanilla & Chocolate aligning forces in the blind with one another when the gameplay at the time didn't require it. Plus the blatantly obvious chat above is pretty damning. They are 2 separate users and they are together Blocked from playing with one another on the site. Mocha bear had 1 game where it was slight and will be Noted for future evidence shall she get in the same trends as these 2.
Blocked.
& Finally Closed.
