Comments: Yeah, I'm accusing myself there. Hear me out - myself and some other people on another forum are taking part in a minor competition, and we decided to use this site as one of the contests. So I signed up and started to poke around, to get a feel for how the game works, and then one of the other people set up the match for us so we could get started - except he also set up an account for each player, to make sure it was just us in the game. So now I have two accounts, that game is over, and I don't really want my main account (this one) to get banned because I'm having fun. And, apparently, I can't delete the second account myself.

So. What do I do?

What was the rationale again ?

The rules state that multiple accounts are illegal, regardless of whether or not they're in the same game - or, in fact, whether or not I'm using the second one.

Send an email to site admin explaining how you ended up with 2 accounts, requesting they delete the alter-ego

Oh I know that - hence the name of this forum.

Anyay, what stahrgazer said.

They'll make you purchase premium, to "validate" your single account, and as punishment for breaking rule #1.

Having premium is far preferable to being a freemie though, so it's really a pretty awesome punishment.

Well. Dunno. As stated:

Technically you can't transfer an account. The person who starts an account is the one who checks the “one and one account only” box when signing up. Sure, the person with the "Tiroth" account has taken advantage of his friend's "tiroth42" account (which is not kosher and certainly not allowed), but the fact remains that another person has set up the "tiroth42" account as well as an unknown second account. Those are the multi accounts here, not the "Tiroth" account (which should receive a warning, but not be busted as a multi).

(This all assuming that the first poster's story is factually correct.)
