Accused:

twain
gazza586

The accused are suspected of:

Conducting Secret Diplomacy

Game number(s):

Game 6776935

Comments: Okay, they're definitely cheating. On gazza586's wall: "let me have your cards you only have 1 man thanks xxx"

On the game public chat, they wrote the following:
2010-04-10 13:51:06 - twain: l m h s
2010-04-10 14:21:08 - gazza586: all urs chief

"l m h s" is obviously "let me have spoils." They've played plenty of other games together so I wouldn't be surprised if they've cheated then, too, but they are definitely cheating this time.

Well, he said the same thing in game chat as on his wall... So it's not like they were conducting secret diplomacy. They have played 20 odd games and it seems to be about 50/50 win ratio.

Yes, but can you get your friends to not spend their spoils just so you can have them? That doesn't seem fair at all. By cashing in spoils, he could have survived that situation, but instead, he's just giving them to his friend.

Yes, but he asked in chat @ 1:51, BEFORE he posted on the wall. There is no rule against this. It appears that he is just trying to make sure it is seen. Also, this isn't secret diplomacy, because he made it public in game chat. This isn't any different than an alliance.

Ok, I understand. Still, it seems cheap because the only reason it's happening is because they're friends, which is different from a normal alliance, in which both people gain. This is just a friend giving spoils to another friend. If it were a stranger they would definitely use them. But there's obviously nothing that can be done about this so I'll drop it.

Rule #2: No secret diplomacy

Any form of diplomatic discussion between opponents must be posted in the game chat in English or in a language that all opponents understand. Diplomacy includes, but is not limited to: proposing truces, negotiating alliances, and coordinating assaults. Secret diplomacy can be hard to prove, but if you suspect it you should leave the players in question appropriate ratings. If you feel certain about players engaging in secret diplomacy consider reporting them in the Cheating & Abuse Reports forum by posting a new topic.

As far as I can see, this was done, no?

posting on wall is a no no. Asking for a card spot in game chat is not.
