I agree. Further, I am concerned for the welfare of all of my foster children with this lunatic running around. I can obviously take care of myself, but they are children. Many of them have already been traumatized, several of them are survivors from the the collapse of Icesave and were barely pulled out from the rubble. I'm not going to tolerate flaming in any thread, especially now that I'm a dad and am applying for mod status and have others for whom I need to look out.

Think you're talking about someone else, Johnny Rockets. I'm defending a group not classified as a - what is the inflamatory term you used ... "terrorist group"? - by any government in the world, only by Johnny Rockets. This is a group that has several members who hold current or former elective office in Canada. Just because a political party hasn't earned Johnny Rockets' endorsement does not disallow historic discussion/acknowledgment of it. Hoping you'll join me in rejecting linguistic bigotry and discrimination, Johnny Rockets, instead of supporting it.

'k gang, this has been fun - it took a lot longer and a wider, curvier more meandering path to strike this ball out of the park than any of poor ol' Saxi's other overly-synthesized life lessons he's trying to help the gang out with but we got there eventually. From a self-imposed 48-hour'er to a boring discussion on the Quebecois independence movement it took a lot of set-up but that's what happens when you have 6 months on your hands to flowchart this stuff.

I also decree that Saxitoxin stop metaphorically poking Johnny Rockets with a sharp stick so as to prevent any verbal outbursts. That sort of behaviour is generally frowned upon.
Not every thread in Off-Topics need be about a serious topic, or indeed about an actual topic at all. However, a big part of entertainment comes from everyone being in on a joke, if someone isn't they should probably be enlightened about it.
